Their rooms are old-fashioned and give off those vibes. It was cool seeing 3 beds in one room for their larger rooms! It's a HUGE property with different buildings. I loved how the lobby looked with all the Xmas decor. I also loved the free breakfast. Definitely a great hotel for the kids too.

It seemed a bit more unique because they have multiple buildings on site with a really cute lobby area and a separate restaurant for dining. The front desk attendant was very kind, friendly, and helpful (unfortunately didn't catch his name, but he was a younger male with light brownish curly hair). They do have an indoor pool, which we didn't use, and we got a room with a cute balcony and view at no extra charge. The free breakfast in the morning was pretty good quality and had lots of options. Great quality for the cost. I will definitely stay here again if I'm in the area.

- CTCeltic Touch Massage TherapyNov 23, 20255.0I cant say enough about the staff here....the two young men who were at the desk were just lovely. Kind, warm and very accomadating. I had an issue with my card after check in and they were very patient and understanding. Then my husband unfortunately lost our room key after we had used the pool, he had to trek down to the front office which is all outside. They were just great and because he was a little wet they took him back up the hill on a golf cart so he didnt have to walk. The lodging itself is really quite unique and rare for a best western. The rooms are spacious and well maintained. They are like little chalets...the ground floor rooms have a cute outdoor patio and greenery. The free breakfast is served buffet style and was great, I really liked how everything was laid out and served. The on-site restaurant was also really good too..fast service, decent food and really attentive staff......all in all I cant say enough great things about this gem. But what impressed me most was the staff, the customer service, and even the local people in Oakhurst. Everyone we met was just lovely. I gave 4 stars for the bed, only because it was quite hard to sleep on......but Id be back in a heart beat.. Thankyou!
