- SSSusanApr 6, 20264.0Room was fine overall, though the mattress definitely was pretty lacking of comfort. Not really expecting much else though for a motel so no points off there. Seems we were unlucky and the power went out for a few hours after we checked in which sent our room to pitch black. Our phones were nearly dead so their light wasn't going to last us long. Wish there had been some sort of strip or something on the door as an emergency light. Thankfully we had flashlights at the time by chance and just plugged in what we could to a power bank for the time being. Biggest frustration was the shower. Boyfriend was content with the below room temperature "heat"... but I was dying for a hot shower to relax some tense muscles after hiking and was left disappointed. I doubt this is something that can be fixed without a renovation of the bathrooms sadly because the faucet only has a very limited movement range. This fact alone will probably leave me avoiding staying again as we only really come to the area for the outdoor activities.
