Would have put 0 stars. The room was disgusting. Mold everywhere. Graffiti on the elevator walls. People sleeping in the lobby.

I'm a traveling surgical assistant. I live about 3.5 hours away. I frequenly come to this hotel at least 2x a week. Sebastian has gone above and beyond to accommodate me. I really appreciate him. Not only is he professional, but he's always smiling, full of great energy. He definitely should be in a management position. Thank you so much for always going above and beyond.💖

Service was exceptional. We are in the process of moving from the OC to another state, and we had a pick up truck full of our belongings, and the front desk advised us to park at the arrival entrance so they could watch the truck and our belongings at no extra charge. The staff were accommodating, friendly, and inviting. My family and I felt welcomed and we were all very comfortable staying here. The only complaint was the musty smell upon entering our hotel room. It was a bit offensive. the hotel is located conveniently right off the 5 Freeway and when exiting the 5 Northbound Norwalk Blvd exit, you can enter the parking lot by making an immediate right after exiting the freeway and another immediate right which makes it super easy to find. After a long drive, being able to turn right into your hotel makes choosing the Doubletree Norwalk the most convenient choice. Exceptional staff, though our room was probably the less than par experience, the convenience and comfort provided by the facility really increased their rating averaging them at a 4.3 rating over all in my opinion. I would definitely stay again, except I will request a different room if I land in one that has a musty smell such as the room from this trip. We were just too exhausted to do anything about it so it wasn’t as bad as I am making it sound. Hope this helps.

I recently injured my back and I do not have a tub. I needed to soak. I was in so much pain. so my sister told me to Get a room with a tub so I did and I used my points and I got there and checked in. The young man was quite pleasant and kind. I brought my nieces up to see the room because they were super excited, you know how kids are and as I came back down, a young lady at the desk looked at me with A disgusting look and I looked at her like what did I do? I know I looked crazy because I was in so much pain I was hunched over and I just looked bad but the way she looked at me. It caught me by surprise so when I came back, I had a few bags with me. I had to lug them all the way up to the fourth floor because there was no luggage carriers. The lady looked at me up and down, and I didn’t understand why she kept on staring at me like that so when I made it up to my room, my cards did not work. I tried and tried and tried and had to gather myself to go back down and when I made it to the front, I advised her my keys didn’t work and she said oh yeah because you weren’t checked in incorrectly and you were supposed to be in another room. All my stuff was in there from earlier, and she locked me out of my Room, knowing I was limping and was in so much pain She knew who I was because of the way she was mad, dogging me, I didn’t understand why she couldn’t just Stop me when I was downstairs orcall me down and say when you have time can you come down there’s a problem with your room. Instead she locking me out of my room while I was dealing with excruciating pain and I was completely flabbergasted Because in all my years, I’ve never been locked out of a room I was checked into And had my belongings in and to top it off, The bathtub didn’t hold water so my plan to soak was not happening and I didn’t want to switch rooms or deal with the front anymore so I just left it as it was, but I was extremely unhappy By the way, I was treated and About the bathtub

Absolutely disgusting place. Got to our room and there is supposed to be two bottles of water for Diamond Members, which there were, except one bottle had been 3/4 consumed. Then I notice what appears to be giant blood stains all over the floor. Ok, I’ll keep my socks on and dodge those. But then, as im looking for a plug to charge my phone and watch, I find a dirty washcloth stuffed behind the nightstand next to the bed. Clearly cleanliness is not a concern here. Last but not least, the tv does not work at all. I travel for work and always stay at Hilton properties, mainly Doubletree, but I may be going back to Marriott.
