  Front desk agent refused to check in a person with an expired US Passport, valid State of CA, Cal OSHA id, a valid CA Dept. He knew that this was a non refundable reservation and didn’t have huevos to make the decision that any front desk agent would make.

  I had a job nearby so I stayed the night here. I chose this hotel from reading reviews of others around. I read some things about 200.00 cash deposit which concerned me because I'd be checking out at 5am, well before they could walk my room to check for damage. This is not the case. Credit card deposit was accepted. For the hotel, it's clean enough to sleep, and shower. For the location I will not return. Homeless everywhere, trash all over the streets, guys loitering around drinking on the corners and in front if the liquor store. I did not get robbed and my truck did not get broken into. So that was good. I did hear a couple explosions outside the hotel, I was too tired to even look though. Didn't hear gun shots but I did expect to. The trash truck comes at 5am to pick up the big dumpsters. It Causing a lot of noise and blocks the entrance/exit for a while. They definitely need the trash pick up though!

  Good hotel in a not-so-good area. Convenient to BUR and to Kaiser Permanente, so it was perfect for me. But I don't think it's good for walking around. Better to drive elsewhere like Noho area, pretty closeby. But for the price it was good and I'd stay here again.
