  Recent trip to and from the east coast caused two separate 5 day stays in this hotel. Well maintained, clean and accessible with comfortable rooms and good Wi-Fi. I must pass on my compliments of (and kudos to) several peple who proved friendly and helpful during my stays: John (front desk) Greg ( reservation assistance) Brittany (front desk) Ann ( mgr maintenance) Breakfast staff ( well done) 😊😊👏 Definitely has become my "go-to" hotel in Saint John. Recommend. ✅✅

  The Holiday Inn is in an older building but the rooms were nicely renovated. The window could open a bit to let in fresh air (better than many newer Holiday Inns where the window could not be opened). The staff were amazing and I didn't see any Temporary Foreign Worker, which is quite impressive for a hotel these days. Parking was free and the free breakfast was good.

  Staff is professional and very helpful to requests! Stayed for 4 nights and was helped by night staff Brandon during our late nights, also super appreciated the housekeeping’s consistent good work. Thank you all for the warm welcome

  I have no idea why anyone would give this higher than a 3. I've stayed in so many Holiday Inn Expresses in my life and I've been an IHG Rewards Member for years. And this is the worst. I have no idea how Hilton keeps its name on this property. Its run down, poorly laid out, and just plan terrible. From the entrance doors with no handicap button to open them (and i am not, but when your hands are full of, i dont know..LUGGAGE?, its annoying. Then there is the elevator that takes 5 minutes to take you to the lobby, so you take the stars to the next floor and the sign for the lobby points forward, but there is no hallway in that direction. The wear and tear on the fixtures, furniture. The non airconditioned 'fitness room' with no dumbbells greater than 25lbs is an insulting afterthought that could have been fixed with a few hundred dollars. Just no effort at all. I will never return to this hotel. And those that are giving it a 4 or 5 (nice of you to help your family that must live there) - you need to simply go to ANY other hotel and you will be flabbergasted how much better they are. DO BETTER!

  Had an absolutely amazing week. Staff was excellent. Shout out to Natasha who served breakfast. She was an absolute gem. Absolutely deserves a raise/promotion. She made our mornings the best they could have been. She was sweet, caring and compassionate. Sent us home with a couple brownies for the kids. Would come back here solely for that one staff member. Everyone else was also super friendly but she went above and beyond. Rooms were clean. The pool room was amazing. The hot tub was so deep you could stand and almost be fully submerged. The pool itself was heated also. Could jump in without worries of it being too cold. All in all this was our favorite stay in any hotel. Look forward to next years trip already. Didnt take nearly as many pics as i would gave liked but the memories will stay forever.
