We stayed at the Crowne Plaza in Moncton, New Brunswick on June 21, 2020, as a stop on our girls' road trip to Nova Scotia. Even though we arrived late, we were greeted warmly at the front desk. Braden took excellent care of us — he suggested nearby spots for a late-night bite and offered us a late check-in thanks to our membership status.
The hotel itself was beautiful and spotlessly clean. We loved starting the next morning with a swim and a soak in the hot tub before hitting the road.
A huge thank you to the wonderful front desk staff, as well as to Kevin, the security guard, who kindly brought us paper plates and utensils for our midnight snack in the room. The assistant manager also stopped by the next morning just to check in and make sure we were enjoying our stay — such a thoughtful touch.
We also have to give a shoutout to the dining room staff at Baton Rouge, who took care of us at breakfast the next morning. Our package only included two paid breakfasts, but since the four of us barely ate enough to justify charging for four, the manager kindly charged us for only two. He absolutely didn't have to do that, but it really reflects the genuine hospitality this hotel is known for.

I’m not usually an IHG guest—I typically stay at Marriott or Hilton—but I chose Crowne Plaza this time because the price was more competitive. It ended up being a great decision.
This was a same-day booking after I decided to skip camping and get a proper night’s rest. I arrived a little before check-in, and Mayca gave me such a warm welcome. She was incredibly friendly, explained the parking, showed me where the elevators were, and made the entire arrival experience smooth and enjoyable.
One thing that really stood out was the staff. Everyone I passed greeted me with a smile, which is something I genuinely appreciate. I’ve stayed at hotels that cost much more, and not all of them provide that level of hospitality.
The parking is reasonably priced and conveniently located behind the hotel. The location is also excellent, with plenty of restaurants nearby and a major event venue right across the street.
A special thank you to Marc for the handwritten welcome note and the adorable little clownfish waiting in my room.
Overall, this hotel exceeded my expectations. Five stars and two thumbs up!

The hotel's service was very attentive and friendly. The personal touch of leaving handwritten welcome notes from housekeeping was appreciated. Location is convenient to Avenir Centre and many other amenities. Our room was very clean and spacious. Service requested for an A/C issue was responded to quickly and solved. Breakfast, though not complimentary, was delicious and high quality and served with a smile.
A few things to note and/or suggest: (1) An improved drop-off, check-in parking area. Main Street was blocked off in front of the hotel for an event, with no detour signs or temporary parking spaces. This necessitated driving around the streets surrounding the hotel to find a place to park just to check in. (2) A large sign in the lobby would be helpful to direct guests to where the elevators are located, especially when your hands are full of luggage. (3) Daily housekeeping such as towel refills, light cleaning, trash bins emptied, was NOT performed, though it can be requested. This should be clearly stated in the room somewhere. We were out for the entire day and left a tip for housekeeping staff which we expected, but came back to an un-serviced room. On a positive note, when we requested service, they were quick to send housekeeping to our room. (4) Additional closet space — there was only one small hutch for hanging clothes in the double-queen room. At least hooks should be added to the room, especially near the door, for jackets, etc., if not another hutch entirely. (5) The room was very large, but had only one lounge chair; another would have been perfect... especially as a couple if you want to order in a meal and don't want to sit on the bed. (6) Wall sockets next to our beds were very loose and need replacing; plugs kept falling out of them. The are other sockets of course but the ones are used most often, especially using a CPAP machine next to bed, phone chargers. (7) The elevators were extremely slow and quite small; one out the three was out of order during our stay. We ended up just taking the stairs. Keep this in mind if mobility issues are a concern.

I had a good experience staying at this hotel. The room was clean, tidy, and comfortable. The location was perfect for our event venue, and the staff provided good service throughout our stay.
There are a few areas that could be improved. The elevators were very slow, especially during busy hours. I was also concerned about security, as the elevators did not require a key card, allowing anyone to access any floor.
Another issue involved the chair in Room 511, where my friend was staying. When he sat down, he was injured by a screw protruding from the side of the chair. The staff responded promptly and replaced the chair after it was reported. However, it would be beneficial for management to inspect all chairs and furniture regularly to prevent similar incidents in the future.

I stayed at the Crowne Plaza Moncton while attending the Sean Paul concert with a friend, and we had such a wonderful experience.
The staff truly went above and beyond to make our stay special. The two women at the front desk provided some of the best customer service I’ve experienced, they were incredibly kind, welcoming, and always ready to help with a smile. Whether we needed extra water, scissors, or anything else, they were happy to assist and made sure we had everything we needed.
The room was extremely clean, comfortable, and well taken care of. The attention to detail and genuine kindness from the staff really stood out.
I would highly recommend the Crowne Plaza Moncton and want to thank the team for making our stay such a positive experience it was by far the best stay I’ve had !
