  While visiting from Newfoundland, My wife and I took my little girl there after my little girl read about the crown plaza in her Robert Munch book called swamp water. The staff was amazing, showed her around and the waitress even made her, her very own glass of swamp water. It is an experience she will remember for ever and we are ever so grateful. Would recommend this hotel and its amazing staff anytime. Thanks for helping us make my little girls trip even more special.

  We stayed for 5 nights, our overall experience was very positive. The room was very clean, comfortable bed and pillows. The Joyce bar served great food and drinks (great selection of craft beers). The hotel is perfectly located in the city, close to shops, restaurants, museums etc. The only things that could be improved would be a better selection of vegetarian food at breakfast. We would definitely stay again.

  I mean, on our Eastern trip I was excited for the 'Crowne' Plaza as in theory it was suppose to our nicest stop. Well the location is fantastic I wish Id stayed elsewhere and just ubered down to town or something. There was a $17.50 parking fee, no breakfast included(my fault I guess), an old hotel, no working elevators (had to use service elevators), broken room fridge (heated our drinks), slowvcheck in... any way awesome location but very disappointed with the hotel, especially based on the cost and they call this a "Crowne'. Definitely staying elsewhere next time Im in Frederickton.

  Staff was helpful, sheets were clean. However the carpet smelled very bad mixed with strong chemical smell. Furniture was very dated, sweaky. Roaches and a spider in the room. Barely spent the night and left off hotel at 0630am with cough. It was the worst hotel experience, when I was expecting a good night sleep in a four star hotel. Photos are deceiving. I dont recommend to anyone to stay there.

  Crowne Plaza is let down by poor design and constant noise issues. From the moment you enter, you’re greeted by a baffling architectural choice: a 3-step platform that blocks direct access to the elevators. There’s no alternative, so everyone has to go up and down these steps just to cross the lobby. The elevator itself beeps loudly at every floor. I could hear it from my room throughout my entire stay — quite annoying and disruptive. The hotel does have a pool and gym. However, inside the gym the water fountain makes a strange, loud noise that even a TV at max volume couldn’t cover. I mentioned this to staff, but they said unplugging it wasn’t possible :( Overall, not a pleasant stay at Crowne Plaza. That said, the room was clean, staff were very nice and refilled coffee and water daily. This hotel needs improvements, starting with replacing the windows with operable ones so guests can get fresh air. The weather in Fredericton was beautiful, but we couldn’t enjoy it from the room.
