  I stay at the Crowne Plaza Fredericton regularly, and it has consistently been an outstanding experience. The service is always fantastic, and the staff and management go above and beyond to make every visit enjoyable. A special shout-out to NKem for his kind and attentive service – his warm approach truly enhances the stay. Tammy at the restaurant is always chipper and helpful at breakfast. Ken is also doing a great job as a manager. The hotel’s location is perfect, situated along the river in the heart of Fredericton, offering both convenience and charm. I especially appreciate the historic character of the property – stepping into the lobby feels like being part of a beautifully preserved scene from the city’s past, creating an inviting and memorable atmosphere. I’ve never had an unpleasant day here, and the combination of attentive staff, excellent service, and the hotel’s wonderful historic setting makes the Crowne Plaza Fredericton an easy recommendation for anyone visiting the area.

  Booked a room for my wedding night paid extra for a king room. Called in advance to tell them this and insured we were getting a king sized bed. Showed up at then end of the night they gave us a room with double beds in the corner by the entrance. Still made me pay the extra price for the king sized bed I did not get. Offered nothing for compensation. I would mot go there!!!

  STAY AWAY. If you care about your personal belongings, think twice before booking this hotel. We were returning from a trip with over $1,000 worth of luggage and personal belongings in our car. We left our vehicle in the hotel’s paid parking lot… and it was broken into and our belongings were stolen. The parking lot is not monitored. And when we contacted the hotel, the manager did virtually nothing to help us and instead chose to completely distance the hotel from the situation. No compensation. No real assistance. No effort to find a solution. Basically: you paid to park here, you got robbed, and now you’re on your own. And this was despite the fact that I have been a Diamond member for several years. This experience made it very clear to us how little years of loyalty seem to mean when something goes wrong. We will never set foot in an IHG property again. And if you decide to stay here anyway, do yourself a favor and do not leave anything of value in your vehicle.

  I feel bad to give this place 2 stars. Because if we are rating on service at front desk this place gets 5. They are so friendly at the front desk. But the hotel is very very dated. I checked in and was given a room on the 3rd floor. The room smelled awful of old carpet. I tried turning off the AC to see if that was making smell worse but smell was persistent. I moved to another room on the 6th floor. The smell there was very very faint and perfectly fine but room is just so dated and old. The bathroom looks like what you might expect at a Super 8. The room was not the only problem. The elevators were also out of service for a good portion of the day. So I had to climb downstairs to go outside. And then at 9:12am today, nearly 2 hours before checkout, housekeeping knocked and then tried to forcibly open my door - it was bolted - not a great cherry on top. I cannot recommend this hotel and would def not return. This hotel is commanding prices for being premium and they are not.

  Great historic hotel with unique architecture. Clean rooms, large pool with hot tub, a shower, a gym, restaurants, and available parking right in the heart of downtown Fredericton. However, what makes this hotel most memorable is the amazing staff. We were celebrating a milestone birthday during a work trip and Penny had our room decorated with balloons, signs, sparkling wine, and really went above and beyond to make it incredibly welcoming! Codie was also checking in on us during our stay to make sure we had everything we needed and was incredibly kind. Service like this is unfortunately rare nowadays, but not here with these folks. I highly recommend this hotel not only for the old fashioned architecture, but mostly for the amazing staff who consider your comfort and needs their top priority! I am extremely grateful for being so well taken care of.
