  I picked this hotel because of the short drive to San Diego Zoo, but this place offered plenty of parking and really felt welcoming for families. I requested a room downstairs, and they were very kind to grant my request. I did notice the drip coffee machine was out of order, and some unused cups were left around by other guests. They had a machine available, but I personally prefer fresh coffee. Perhaps a sign could be helpful if the drip machine is broken, or maybe it could be removed if not in use. I mentioned to the lady that the coffee machine wasn’t working, but overall, I really enjoyed our stay.

  Wonderful place to stay highly recommended. Customer service is amazing and the pillows are so comfortable to sleep on. My wife keeps saying she need to find a way to purchase one

  The overall is a 3 star. The Wi-Fi here is terrible. The service is great and the rooms are pretty good. However, their coffee machines were broken half of the time and were out of creamer.

  Absolutely loved our time here! A special shout-out to Carol at the front desk – she is a true gem, incredibly friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure we felt at home. The room was pristine and very comfortable, with all amenities in perfect working order. This hotel truly offers a home-away-from-home experience with exceptional staff. A 5-star experience! Breakfast at Denny's 15% discount with stay at this Hotel. By the way, I saw some dolphins...Lol Carol 🤩

  The actual room was okay. Everything else was not. 1. There was a room smell, which smelled like the toilet. Also there was a damp towel that was put out for our use. It looked fresh, but there was a damp spot in one corner. It seems that the cleaning crew used it to wipe something off the sink and put it back instead of placing a new towel. 2. Our room was located in the first floor, facing the restaurant in front. The restaurant has loud music playing until 9PM. You won't be able to sleep early because of it. It was also only a few doors away from an outside/sidedoor that is being used by guests and service crew. Everytime someone enters/exits, the door makes a loud bang that vibrates through the rooms, it gave me a migraine. 3. Staff - I went to the front desk because it was midnight and you can still hear crew and guests slamming that side door entrance. I thought there were loud guests but it was the staff at the front desk just talking. When I told them the problem, they didn't even tried to make a solution but said they couldn't help anyway. So save your money. Book elsewhere.
