You are one short block from the Embarcadero, so meeting a kayak guide or grabbing seafood takes minutes. We even went whale watching and saw sea lions cruising the bay. That view of Morro Rock is the showstopper. Rooms felt clean and cared for. Service arrived on time. Breakfast was simple and good. You get quiet sitting areas on both levels. Parking is easy and mostly covered. That helps with seagulls. Nice extras include an EV charger and a windshield washing station. The spa’s hot tub is large and hot. There is no air conditioning. We opened the windows and let the ocean breeze do the work. It felt great. For the money, this hotel is ideal. Clean rooms. Friendly staff. Prime spot near the water and activities. I would recommend it to family and friends and plan to stay again.

It was incredible watching the sunset with all the other folks on their balconies. Walking distance to everything, the spa/hot tub was incredible, we went several times during our 2 night stay. Only suggestion, the spa/hot tub closes too early. The staff, Harry who checked us in, thank you for the friendly personality and laughs, even though we had a late check in. As for the main star, Shelby she was amazing from the moment I made the reservations to our check out. Friendly, accommodating and she truly cares. Only suggestion, the breakfast needs some work. The coffee was very weak.
