Place looks nice, but once you arrive you can see its a little dated and needs some work. The rooms were Ok-ish, but there was some need for updates, including the TVs which dont have a cast function on this date and age, and theres a need to point certain shortcomings like coarse towels that almost scratch when using them, hard-as-a-rock mattress, pillows that sink and provide no support, or dirty spots like a stained toilet lever.
What really really ticked me off was two things:
1. The parking is charged at $20 per vehicle/per day. Sits wrong having to pay for parking at a hotel, but it was even more unpleasant when we arrived later at night around 10.30pm after spending all day out and about, only to find out that the covered parking garage under the rooms is completely full because its not big enough to park both floors in the hotel. The covered parking garage under the hotel is the only way of accessing the hotel and use the elevator, which we needed because of our baby stroller, luggages... etc. I had to take the car out of the parking garage and around the hotel in the parking lot located in the back of the hotel. Theres no direct access to this parking lot without having to take the elevators inside the hotel to the "P" level, and walking all the way out and around the garage, until you get to the only exit located in the middle of the parking garage. Mind you, we were staying at the complete end of the wing, so I had to walk back and forth twice on a 1-night stay. If I didnt have to pay $20/night, this wouldnt have bothered me at all.
And 2nd, after arriving late from dinner at 10.30pm, having the issue with the full parking, with tired kids, we finally settle in the room ready to watch a movie in bed and relax with some wine, when we received a call from the front desk asking "Are you guys having a party up there?". I immediately asked "excuse me?", and the lady at the desk said "theres been a noise complain from that side of the hotel". I replied "We literally just got here about 20 minutes ago with our kids. No we are not having a party". Then she said "Can you guys hear anything from your room?". "No. Not at all" -I replied. And then she dismissed the issue and hanged down.
It wouldve taken 5 minutes for hotel staff to come to the area of the complain and hear where the noise was coming from before calling a room and accusing a guest. If the issue was an adjacent room to us complaining for a 1-year old 2 second scream when we arrived to the room and woke up hungry, im sorry, but that is not considered "a party" sound.
Regardless, between the aging facility, obnoxiously uncomfortable bed/pillows, the parking, and the unprofessional call dash accusation, made me not want to stop by at this hilton in the future.

The Hilton Garden Inn was definitely up to Hilton standards! This place was centrally located with in 30 minutes if everything we were doing in our trip. The Hotel was quite and well kept! Very clean and respectful. The only issue with us, was parking! With a winter storm going on, there was not enough coverd parking. But other than that! We were happy with our stay!

The hotel was disappointing overall. The room did not feel clean, and the floors were sticky, which made it uncomfortable to walk around. In the morning, doors were constantly slamming in the hallway, which woke us up and made it hard to rest. The Wi-Fi was also very slow and unreliable. I would not stay here again.

The elevator was broken and there were several steps to get up to main lobby and no ramp.
