Not all Elevators work you will get stranded for 15-30 minutes on your floor.

Was in Winnipeg for a wedding and chose this location as its close to where some family live. If I had to do this trip again I think I would have stayed elsewhere. Within 20 minutes of arriving here we witnessed drug users on the sidewalk out front injecting themselves... which was not what I wanted my kid to see. The parking lot is mess. Its half torn up so you can't fit enough cars in it. its half paved, have dirt. The restaurant and lounge are only open in the morning and evening so you can't get any food in the daytime. The pool area requires you to obtain wrist bands from the front desk but there is no one in the pool checking bands... so whats the point? We had a late night fight breakout in the hallway outside our room that required a call to the front desk. The HVAC units in the room are extremely noisy and if you turn it off the room is too hot and you can't open windows. This hotel is in desperate need of modernization from top to bottom. its apparently changed ownership a few times in recent past and it looks like there have been some attempts at renos. might be time to bulldoze and start fresh.
