This is our 3rd time staying here. Everytime it's a wonderful experience. The hotel is very clean, Pet friendly. Most importantly, I value the kitchen staff, they make a wonderful warm breakfast and make sure everyone who is coming down for breakfast has what they need. They keep it clean and organized. Good job everyone. Your hard work makes our stay a wonderful experience. I highly recommend this hotel if your every traveling through Winkler and wish to stay a night.

This hotel is really great! The rooms are nice, the amenities are good, and the fitness room is decent. They also have a really nice recreational area and a big backyard, which is something I haven't seen at many hotels. Plus, they have tons of parking space – even spots for big vehicles and trailers, which is pretty rare!
We stopped for the night due to a tornado, hail, and thunderstorm. The room was very nice and included free breakfast and Wi-Fi. Plus, it's pet-friendly, as we have a small dog with us. The hotel is nice and clean, and the staff is friendly.

Hotel incrível! Os quartos são muito limpos e novos, e a cama é muito confortável. O chuveiro tem uma boa pressão. O café da manhã também é muito bom, com opções de frutas e diversos pastries. Não tenho nada a reclamar.

I was not overly impressed with my stay. The cleanliness of the hotel and rooms was great, and I will say the rooms themselves looked nice. However, the layout seemed very odd for shorter people. I’m 5 feet tall and struggled with how unusually high the bathroom sink area and food storage area were—it made simple things like brushing my teeth uncomfortable.
The shower water pressure was extremely poor, honestly the worst I’ve experienced at a hotel. Also, if you have sensitive skin or dislike citrus scents, I highly recommend bringing your own toiletries because everything provided is citrus-based. I personally have eczema and couldn’t use any of the products.
The beds were not very comfortable and sat very low to the ground compared to how tall everything else in the room was. The sheets were fine, but the pillows felt cheap and uncomfortable.
Breakfast was disappointing. We stayed for 3 nights and 4 days, and it was the exact same eggs and meat every single morning. We were especially looking forward to bacon because the night staff told us there would be some, but there never was. The hashbrowns were often soggy, and the sausage was not good.
What made the stay worse was the staff interaction. I asked if we could have our bed sheets changed the next day, and instead of simply helping, I was questioned and asked why we would need the bed sheets changed if we had just checked in yesterday. They kept asking what happened and made me feel very uncomfortable. I’ve never experienced that at a hotel before. I even asked if we could just get a fresh top blanket, and they insisted they needed to come inspect the room first and “see if they had time.” I was honestly mind blown.
The pool itself wasn’t bad and had a nice slide, but the water was so cold it was basically unusable. When I mentioned it to night reception, they simply put a hand in the water and said it was normal. The next day I asked pool maintenance, and they admitted it was cold and said they would raise the temperature. That was frustrating because clearly it could have been fixed sooner.
Late checkout was also disappointing. When I called before booking, I was told checkout until 12 PM was fine without charge, and anything after would be $20 per hour. At checkout, they would only allow 11:30 or 11:40 latest, even though the parking lot was nearly empty. Charging $20 per hour after that feels excessive compared to many other hotels.
Overall, I can’t say I would recommend this hotel for my personal experience. It may work well for some people, but I won’t be returning. I also felt too uncomfortable after the staff interactions to even ask for compensation for the issues we experienced.
