We stayed at this hotel on August 2, 2026, and booked through Expedia. Overall, our stay was very good, the room was great, the hotel was clean, the food was good, and the front desk staff who assisted us at check-in were professional and welcoming. Unfortunately, one interaction during check-out significantly affected our overall experience.
Our Expedia confirmation clearly stated a 3:00 PM check-out. At approximately 12:00 PM, the manager, Manny Ignacio, came to our door and asked if we were extending our stay. I showed him our Expedia confirmation, and he said, quote-unquote, “You guys know that hotels check out are usually noon, right?”
I replied, “Yes, I know, but this is my confirmation from Expedia.” I showed him the confirmation stating 3:00 PM. He responded, quote-unquote, “That’s their fault, not the hotel’s.”
His tone came across as sarcastic and dismissive, making me feel as though I did not understand the standard check-out time, when I was simply presenting the confirmed terms of our reservation.
We contacted Expedia ourselves, and they confirmed there had been an error and contacted the hotel directly. We were subsequently allowed to stay until 3:00 PM as stated in our confirmation. However, the lack of proactive assistance and service recovery was disappointing. When we later saw Manny at the front desk pushing a cart of beverages, there was no acknowledgment or apology regarding the earlier interaction.
We had paid for our accommodation and followed the terms of our confirmed reservation. Regardless of whether the discrepancy originated with Expedia, the hotel, or a communication issue between both parties, the guest should not be placed in the middle of resolving it.
We ultimately chose to leave despite being allowed to stay until 3:00 PM because the experience had already been affected.
It is unfortunate because everything else about our stay was positive. In hospitality, however, how a concern is handled can significantly influence the overall guest experience. A professional response, assistance in resolving the discrepancy, and a simple apology would have made a meaningful difference.
I hope management takes this feedback constructively and uses it to improve guest communication and service recovery.
Our stay from August 2–3 was unfortunately far from the relaxing experience we expected. There was a discrepancy with our Expedia reservation regarding the checkout time, which clearly showed 3:00 p.m. Manager Manny Ignacio approached us insisting that checkout was at 11:00 a.m., and when we showed our reservation, his response felt dismissive rather than helpful. We eventually had to contact Expedia ourselves, who then spoke with Manny Ignacio and confirmed that the hotel’s Expedia information had not been properly updated. We were finally allowed to stay until 3:00 p.m., as our booking stated.
What left us most disappointed was not the mistake itself, but the way it was handled. Even after the hotel’s error was confirmed, there was no apology or acknowledgment from Manny Ignacio regarding the inconvenience caused. I understand that mistakes happen, but professionalism, empathy, and accountability are what truly define good service. We decided to leave early despite being given the correct checkout time because the experience had already taken away from what was supposed to be a relaxing trip. Sadly, we left feeling frustrated and disappointed, and based on this experience, we would not consider staying here again.

We checked in yesterday and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience.
The issue started when the manager, Manny(he's wearing polo shirt) came to our room and rudely informed us that checkout was at 11:00 a.m. We showed him our Expedia reservation, which clearly stated that our checkout time was 3pm. Instead of looking into the situation or apologizing, he repeatedly insisted that it "wasn't the hotel's fault" and showed no interest in understanding our side. His tone and attitude were dismissive, and when I later spoke with him at the front desk, he continued to be rude and unprofessional.
Since the situation wasn't being resolved, we contacted Expedia to ask why our reservation stated a 3:00 p.m. checkout. Expedia immediately called the hotel and spoke directly to a Manager Manny. After discussing the reservation, it was confirmed that the issue was due to a miscommunication on the hotel's end since their expedia site details was not updated at all. We were then told we could stay until 3pm, exactly as our reservation stated.
What was most disappointing was that if I hadn't gone to the front desk and contacted Expedia ourself, we likely would have been charged an extension fee for something that wasn't our fault. Even after it was confirmed that the mistake was on the hotel's side, Manny never apologized or acknowledged the inconvenience or do something with it. When we checked out, he simply walked past us without saying a word.
Although we were told 3pm checkout after the issue was resolved, we decided to leave early because of how poorly we were treated.
As someone who currently works as a Manager in the hospitality industry in Winnipeg, I understand that mistakes and miscommunications can happen. However, the way they're handled makes all the difference. I've never treated guests with the kind of attitude and lack of professionalism that we experienced here. A simple apology and willingness to listen would have completely changed the outcome.
Because of this experience, I will not recommend this hotel or return in the future. I sincerely hope the hotel takes this matter seriously and addresses how guests are treated so that no one else has to go through a similar experience. We traveled from another part of the city hoping for a relaxing stay and vacation, but instead we left feeling frustrated and disappointed. This was an awful experience and not the level of hospitality we expected. I hope the hotel takes guest service more seriously in the future especially for a Manager like Manny.

a must stay if your in Neepewa
Great rooms , clean , fresh and new .
Also the Farmery brewery is right across the street !!!! great place
Very clean and quiet. We stayed overnight as we were attending a family function. We didn't get a chance to see the pool, but the waterslide looked fun. It also had a continental breakfast in the morning which looked like a good spread of various items.
