Upon entering the hotel, we were unpleasantly surprised by the amount of people smoking and gambling in the pool area. Then, when we were checking in the customer service was not up to par. I do not feel that we were greeted properly. It was a very quick and bland interaction with the front desk associate, who also took a personal phone call while checking me in. The interior of this hotel is in desperate need of renovations. The furniture is falling apart and the elevator barely works. Finally, we get to the room. I was shocked when we made our way inside. The room was humid, smelled musty, and the appliances were also run down. It does not seem like this room was throughly cleaned by staff as well. We immediately knew we were NOT gonna stay there. We made the decision that we could not bare to spend the night at this hotel due to its atrocious appearance. We quickly booked a hotel at the Hyatt in Pleasant Hill. I tried giving this place an opportunity but it was nothing like how it is pictured on the website. I will never recommend this place to anyone. Please if you are looking to stay here because it is affordable, there is a reason for that. I will always stay at the Hyatt because it is far superior, always clean and service is amazing. I would rather spend a little extra money there than ever come back to the Best Western in Martinez.

When i felt him on my legs, many words where exchanged and covers may have been thrown. Needless to say, no alarm, no coffee was necessary. Wide awake. Thanks Best Western 🤣🪳
