Lodge at Marconi is a hotel and event space located off Tomales Bay in Marshall, CA. Situated within Marconi State Historic Park, this gorgeous venue offers multiple indoor and outdoor spaces, 45 guest rooms and 62 acres of lush park land.
Spending a weekend away from the kids at Marconi and it is dreamy up here! Had a great meal at Mable’s: delicious food and cocktails. Room is retro cool, clean, very comfy bed with extra blankets. We have a gorgeous view of the bay. The branding and design is all super well done. Overall really impressed with the reno and service and will be back!

To be forced into such a sad review is so disappointing. We have stayed here before. Three years ago it was a completely different place. Tonight we paid $350 for a room which includes $80 in fees. It was a long day of driving in the rain and we were looking forward to a night of rest and quiet. Immediately upon entering our room a loud yapping dog starting barking and continued to bark with every move or sound we made in our room. We went back down to the office and was told by the girl that there wasn’t any other rooms with two beds like we booked except for the ones near the dog. She said she knew the people in the room with the dog. Not sure what that meant or how that was relevant. Basically at this point it was dark and we had no other place to go. She put us in a horrible room above the office with two beds but one is a weird twin bed in the corner. The room is sterile and stinks with a IKEA couch, no door on the bathroom and we can hear every voice and sound below us in the office. The girl spent most the night talking on the phone downstairs. When we came here last time the room was beautiful, the bathroom gorgeous and the place was so cozy. This room is a cheap, plastic floor, echoing smelly chamber. Did I mention it stinks? There are only a few people in the entire place and this is where she put us? I couldn’t be any more disappointed. We talked this place up to everyone and couldn’t wait to return. What a let down. Did I use the word disappointing enough? Probably not. If you are looking for a romantic quiet getaway do not come here unless you want to be disappointed.

Amazing but Deceiving Hotel
I’m not going to lie — when I booked this hotel, I didn’t read all the comments. It’s a beautiful hotel located among trails with gorgeous views. The grounds are stunning, and the staff was friendly.
We only stayed one night, and thank God we did, because while the rooms are beautiful, with a comfortable bed and nice layout, it’s an absolute nightmare when it comes to soundproofing. Oh my God — we could hear every conversation going on in a 360-degree radius. Let’s not even get started on the upstairs guests. Who knows what they were doing, but it was loud.
For such a beautiful hotel and property, they seriously need to invest in proper soundproofing. The upstairs rooms need thick carpeting, and the stairs need fixing because even we could hear when someone was going up and down.
Like I said, the hotel is beautiful, the grounds are amazing, and the amenities are great — but the noise issue really takes away from the experience.

Loved staying here over the long weekend. Thoughtful service and decor, absolutely peaceful. Nice touches available like custom blend bath products and smores for the fire, hikes on the property, and simple but elegant decor. A little walking-around noise from the room upstairs and from staff/guests outside, but not a big deal for us and generally the place was very quiet and serene. Highly recommend for a getaway weekend!

What a serene and relaxing place. My wife and I booked a room here a few months after they had opened and it was wonderful for our 1st wedding anniversary. We wanted something a bit more private and peaceful and this place really fit the bill. The front desk was very friendly, our place was clean, and the coffee bar was great. Would definitely stay here again!
