  The staff were very helpful and friendly, especially the manager, Sarah. She was extremely accommodating to help us out since our car had to unexpectedly get some work done. Comfortable beds, convenient location, yummy breakfast. Great spot for a good nights sleep.

  ⭐⭐⭐ I understand that many of the hotels in Mammoth are older properties, and that’s completely fine—but age doesn’t excuse cleanliness. When you’re charging these kinds of rates, the basics should be done well. The staff at the hotel were very friendly and accommodating, which we really appreciated. However, the room itself left a lot to be desired. There was noticeable dust, dirty corners, and carpets that clearly needed a proper vacuum. I stay in over 100 hotels a year, and at the end of the day, cleanliness is basic hospitality. This isn’t meant to run the housekeeping staff down, I truly believe it’s the responsibility of owners and managers to ensure the standards are there so staff can take pride in their work. Older hotels can absolutely feel clean and well cared for, but unfortunately that wasn’t the case here. With better attention to these basics, the guest experience would improve a lot.

  DO NOT BOOK. Rude manager (Probably the owner) Horrible customer service. Breakfast was sad and terrible. They wouldn't refund our first night when we couldnt get into town because roads were closed for 12 hours, but they used that as an excuse to not serve proper breakfast even though there are plenty of grocery stores fully stocked nearby. No elevator, so you have to cart your luggage up and down unclean and unmarked staircases. Don't make this hotel your choice. Locals say it changes names all the time. Uses the best western name but doesnt match the quality. I'd rather book at the local Motel 6, which is saying a lot. I never leave bad reviews because I'm pretty chill but this place made me absolutely angry.

  The staff is extremely nice, the location is great near the bus stops, the rooms are modernish Since there is no warning at the hotel, take heed: Also as others have warned, the parking garage spots are extremely narrow with large cement columns preventing easy movement or space for large trucks/SUVs. There’s also a very short, but steep ramp to get in which got snowed in and it took them a long time to plow it, cars got stuck. Per the managements response, they could *at least warn guests*, add some traction, pre arrange the clearing or give a time estimate when people can expect to retriever their car so they are not stuck with no idea. Communication and attitude seems poor given the owners responses to feedback

  The hotel is pretty grungy especially for what they charge. The front desk is not helpful and they do no maintain or keep breakfast serviced or the area clean during breakfast hours which was pretty frustrating as I selected the hotel for included breakfast then to find they only stock it once. They also use a virtual host at night who is polite but it made me uncomfortable that they left a piece of paper for check in with another guest information listed right there on the desk for anyone to see.
