Stayed 4 nights in September 2025 as a solo traveler.
This is an older hotel (probably built in the 1960's) that has been partially remodeled (rooms have been rehabbed but the common areas remain very dated). I appreciated the efforts to update the room (bathroom shower and vanity, headboard, etc..) but the room itself was very small and felt cramped and the flooring was cracked and broken. Additionally, the bed was very old and creaked loudly with any movement. The walls are also VERY thin and so I was hearing my neighbors next door and above quite loudly.
The location is good - very close to the main core of restaurants and shopping and in close proximity to the MM area.
Staff were friendly and I had my first experience with checking out remotely with a person I think was probably in the Philippines? Kind of weird but smooth and efficient.
The breakfast was the typical fare - nothing special and the same each of the 4 days I stayed. The breakfast room is in the basement and pretty depressing.
There is no pool or gym, but there is a Jacuzzi.
Overall the hotel felt a bit overpriced for what I paid (about $190/night) - but the rates in ML seem high generally.

Disenheartening to wake up in the morning, pull off the covers, and see that a previous guest left a large bloodstain on the sheet. Either the housekeepers didn't look at the sheet before they made the bed, or saw the stain, and didn't care about the guests reaction. I expect more of Best Western. So should you.

The beds were fine. The breakfast was very good! They had eggs, potatoes and bacon/sausage. It was very conveniently located to a nice restaurant as well as a pizza place and bar.
With that said, we were told that the room comes with daily cleaning. The first day they did not come. The room had socks left in the room from a previous occupant. We hoped that they would at least clean the bathroom. They did not. The second day, they did bring towels. They did not clean the bathroom or even remove the used towels. The third day they cleaned the bathroom, but did not dump the trash cans.
We paid for a mountain view room with a balcony. We couldn't see the mountain. We could see the building in front of us (please see the photo). We spoke multiple times to the front desk. I would say they were not as helpful as I would like and did not seem to provide accurate information.
The price was reasonable for the location. If you didn't want daily turndown service and didn't care about service, this place was adequate.
The food was good
