  I had a fantastic stay at the Hampton Inn! Everything from the room to the overall atmosphere was wonderful. I especially want to recognize Shaila at the front desk for her exceptional customer service during check-in. She was warm, professional, and made the entire process smooth and welcoming. Her kindness and positive attitude truly set the tone for a great stay. I really appreciate the outstanding customer service and will definitely be returning. Highly recommend!

  The hotel is always clean, and the breakfast is hot. I stay here a handful of times each year and usually upgrade to a suite. This time, though, Room 301 needed a couple of things fixed. The TV mount wasn’t working, so the TV was facing downward. There were also a couple of small holes in the bathroom wall, which was odd. They may have been from old pictures being hung, but no one wants holes in the walls of their room—especially in the bathroom. I was also there 90min early and my room was ready but was told there’s a $20 early check in fee. This should be waived for customers so close to check in time or their loyalty customers, just my two cents

  I have been coming to this hotel almost weekly for work the last few months. It is a very nice hotel, with very clean rooms and an incredibly friendly staff. Shaila is usually the one to check me in and she is always super friendly and professional. For the remainder of my work that brings me to Madera I will definitely plan to stay here.

  Shaila’s ability to make guests feel at home is super incredible to say the least! It’s difficult to put into words on how on well she conducted herself during our stay. All I can say is that she was quite professional and treated us with the upmost care. She is also knowledgable on the surrounding area and gave us ideas on what we can do in Madera, California! Not to mention she was also quite bubbly and eager to greet us. My family and I seldom experience this kind of care whenever we travel unfortunately, so coming across Shaila was definitely a breath of fresh air! We appreciate her and look forward to hopefully encountering again the next time we’re in town! Thank you so much Shaila for your wonderful hospitality. Her personality is perfectly suited for being a front desk receptionist :)

  I’ll start with the what was good. Cheap room, relatively clean, and the staff were friendly enough. Kinda went downhill though after the prolonged check in process. The staff member was super friendly but took a while due to having to check people in while being on their lunch break. Side note, I’m pretty sure that’s a labor law violation. Either way, I paid for the “suite” which consisted of a huge open room with a tub; however the location was probably the worst I’ve been in. The room was adjacent to the large staff laundry room with the bed sharing the same wall as the laundry area. I’m normally not a light sleeper; but I was awoken every 20 minutes by slamming noises from workers probably just doing their job. I feel the room I was in should not be rented out, or at the very least move the bed to the other side of the room so people don’t have to listen to banging all night.
