I stayed here with my friend back in September and have been sitting on this review for a while. So with that timeline in mind, some things may have improved. For the price point, I expected better rooms, facilities, and service. The room was dated and had a musty smell. My friend told me the communal office space didn’t have air conditioning and was impossible to stay in for more than a few minutes. But the worst part was the service for breakfast — my friend arrived later than me and received abhorrent treatment that I can only think is because of her skin color. When she left, the hostess ran after her and demanded to know if she paid. When I stepped in and told her we had added it our room’s tab, she suddenly backed down. I’m assuming she didn’t know my friend was with me. We informed reception of this treatment when we checked out. I would proceed with caution when booking here.

Great place to go for updated versions of nostalgia! Celebrating the 1970's in one club, then fast forward a short walk to the 1980's in a second club! Both clubs have themed performances & if you want to try your hand at being a superstar, the private karaoke booths are perfectly set up to get those creative juices flowing! The staff were all friendly & helpful overall I would recommend THE LINE LA for fun & different type of experience that may be alone in it's approach to the "stay in LA" experience!!

I ignored the bad reviews hoping things may turn out better but unfortunately that was not the case. - Terrible customer service. Very rude and condescending. (especially at the front desk) - Poor noise control. It’s extremely loud all times of the day and night. - Appears unclean. We found randoms strands of hair throughout the room and bathroom - problems with the ac. I could decrease the temp but could not increase it. And much more - but writing this review just makes me even more disappointed than I already am so I’m trying to keep it to a minimum to protect my peace during our time in LA. Sort reviews from low to high and you’ll notice A TON of repeat comments to that clearly never get addressed. Just repeat disappointments for the same issues. Your money will be best spent elsewhere.

The lobby was one of my favorite spaces—vibrant, open, and full of character. I also really enjoyed stopping by Alfred Coffee and had an amazing dinner and breakfast at Openaire Restaurant, which felt like a special treat during my stay. My room was comfortable, the bed was cozy, and the view of the Hollywood Hills was beautiful. The natural light pouring into the room made the space feel warm and inviting. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The Line Hotel offers more than just a place to sleep—it delivers style, atmosphere, and a true LA experience. I’d gladly stay again.
