I had the pleasure of staying here this past weekend for a night for the first time and although it was only one night, they made it very special. The staff when we first checked in was warm and caring. We had an amazing view of downtown LA and were impressed with everything. We did end up leaving a Nintendo switch by accident and we were able to get into contact with the hotel and they did confirm that the had found it and would send us instructions on how to ship it to us. We didn’t receive said email but we did drive back from San Diego to LA to retrieve it. The staff was super helpful and informative on how we would be able to get it back. The staff when we arrived were very kind even down to the parking attendant Jovi. Everyone made sure we were taken care of while we waited for them to bring down our missing item. Just really goes to show the care the overall team has to their work and the guests that have stayed there to really give you that sort of experience. This was our first time staying at this hotel and we definitely want to be coming back. Thankful for the great experience and the integrity your team holds.

I'm still here and let me show you what this 5 star hotel is calling a refrigerator. The refrigerator in the room is full of food for sale so this was the replacement that they provided. The front desk staff is all smiles and no follow through. I have repeatedly requested and received verbal verification that the refrigerator will be emptied and everyday that I return to my room, it's still very full. Just disappointed in the service Update Within an hour of this my refrigerator has been replaced. I will update review rating when I leave and hopefully everything goes smoothly form here on

You can have Four Seasons, SLS and Ritz Carlton, and I’ll take Intercontinental downtown LA. The front dest staff are amazing and the lobby on the 70th floor has spectacular views and a nice lounge where you can grab a drink and some food. The rooms are spacious, also with spectacular views and not that expensive for a 5 star hotel. Breakfast at La Boucherie is also a can’t miss, although it can get pretty crowded, so make reservations. Intercontinental downtown LA is my go-to spot whenever I’m in LA

Amazing view ❤️ I stayed at InterContinental Los Angeles Downtown and the view alone makes the stay worth it. From the 70th floor, the city opens up in every direction. You see the skyline, the grid of streets, the movement of Los Angeles below. Day or night, the view leaves an impression. This is a view you should see at least once. The gym surprised me even more. Open 24 hours. Full equipment. Wide space between machines. This is not a typical hotel gym with tight corners and limited weights. The layout feels professional. You train comfortably without waiting or squeezing between equipment. Cardio, free weights, resistance machines, all ready. If you care about skyline views and serious workout space, this hotel stands out.

BUYER BEWARE — LARGE EVENTS We booked our company holiday party here based on location and availability, expecting to be treated like valued clients, especially given the InterContinental's luxury branding and our significant spend. Instead, we were treated like small fish in a big pond. First, after our contract was countersigned, the sales team decided to double-book our space to generate additional revenue, severely cutting into our setup time. We had no choice in the matter, but were repeatedly promised that we would be 'taken care of'. Little did I know this would set the tone for the entire event. On the day of our event, we experienced issues from load-in to load-out. A few examples: not being given our space on time due to the previous client running over, a specialty cocktail that we paid additional for left completely out of the bar set up, our specialty mocktail forgotten - then we were charged for it, 2 tables didn't get their selected entree, set up team lost our giveaway envelopes, bussing tables so loudly you couldn't hear the entertainment, 1 loading dock employee to handle the load out of 3 events (this is just the tip of the iceberg). I submitted a detailed, three-page list to the GM outlining all of the issues we experienced, and it took over two and a half weeks to receive a response. During a Zoom call that followed, roughly half of the concerns were outright dismissed, and the “resolution” offered was a 2.5% concession—a laughable response given the scale of the issues we encountered. I requested a more appropriate credit on the final bill and, unsurprisingly, it took over a week to even get a response, and the 'resolution' was another low-ball offer. This lack of accountability and follow-through seems to be par for the course with this team. If you’re planning a large event and expect professionalism, responsiveness, and to be treated like a valued client, I strongly suggest looking elsewhere. Buyer beware.
