I stay at the InterContinental Los Angeles Downtown regularly as an ambassador member, and the service continues to be one of the main reasons I return. Front Office Manager Harley always handles situations efficiently and with exceptional professionalism. Whenever something needs attention, Harley addresses it quickly and effectively, making every stay smoother and more comfortable. The consistency and reliability that Harley provides are truly outstanding. The Guest Relations team is also excellent. Kelly is always welcoming and reaches out before each stay to check on preferences and needs. That proactive communication adds a personal touch that elevates the overall experience. With great views, modern rooms, and a front-of-house team that genuinely cares about guests, this property remains one of the best choices in DTLA.

The staff here were very helpful and respectful. I had just made it in time for brunch, I never felt rushed, the staff were very nice and had excellent service. The mocha and Benedict with the view made a great start to my morning. My waitress’s name was Jasmine, she was so nice, gave me many suggestions of things I’d be able to see before my flight. It rained my whole stay, first time in LA, but this restaurant and waitress made me so much happier on my last few hours in the city. I highly recommend stopping here even if you’re going solo. Thank you Jasmine

Overall a good hotel. Probably wouldn’t stay here again due to the inconvenience of getting anywhere, but still a pleasant enough stay. Pros: - Hotel is really nice with friendly staff - Room service is super easy and great - Breakfast is great as well! (They do add an extra gratuity on top of your check) - Incredible views! - Housekeeping (almost) everyday? Cons: -Lobby is on the 70th floor which is cool, but gets old fast. Expect to take at least 5 minutes to get to and from your room. This is even worse when there’s a line to use the elevators (yes this happens more often than you think) - $37 facility fee you pay everyday ON TOP of what you already paid for the booking, so expect an additional cost after your stay. - $67 Valet parking (no self parking). If you don’t want to spend $67 PER DAY, you’re better off parking at some garage outside. - There was a fire alarm that went off in the middle of the night, and we had to evacuate from the 60th floor going down all those stairs. Apparently it was a false alarm - It’s DTLA

This is honestly the funniest hotel I’ve ever stayed at—and unfortunately, also the worst five-star experience I’ve had so far. I arrived at 11 p.m. after a long flight, only to be told that room service was no longer available and that I could “use the minibar in my room” instead. Isn’t the whole point of room service to be able to order food late at night? When I got to my room, the toilet made a loud noise every 10 seconds, and the minibar was completely empty. I called the hotel service to let them know, and the nice lady manager kindly changed my room herself. The second room had a few items in the minibar, but for example, one small box of cookies was $16. I was just on vacation in Europe and had excellent room service meals for that price! To top it off, the bedsheets had torn spots and felt rough to the touch. (Photo attached.) Now for the funniest part: to get to your room, you first have to go up to the 70th floor, then take another elevator to your actual floor—and do the same in reverse to go down. This morning, when I got to the second elevator, there was a long line! I waited a long time just to reach the ground floor. I’ve attached a photo of the line so you can see for yourself.

We had a wonderful stay at the InterContinental. The customer service was truly five star, and the property itself is beautiful. Everything was spotless, and the views throughout the hotel are absolutely breathtaking. Check in was very welcoming, Samy was so kind, attentive and took the time to walk us through everything about the hotel. We received exceptional hospitality from the manager, Maria Sokhikyan, who went above and beyond to make sure we had the best possible stay. We’re so grateful to her for her kindness and attention to detail. Thank you so much Maria! Our suite was spacious and elegant, with incredible views, it couldn’t have been more comfortable. Breakfast at Le Boucherie was delicious, especially with a table overlooking the city. We also enjoyed access to the lounge, where Michelle greeted us with such warmth and made us feel right at home. The afternoon drinks, breakfast, and relaxing atmosphere were a real highlight. I also loved the wellness amenities, the pool and sauna were relaxing, and the full gym made it easy to get a great workout in during our stay. To top it all off, we spent the evening at Spire 73, the views, fire pits, and overall vibe were fantastic. Our bartender, Agustine, made excellent cocktails. We left feeling happy and grateful for such a lovely weekend at the InterContinental.
