  Pulled up and watch addict shot up in front of hotel. The accommodating staff went outside and asked him to leave the property. The TV just stopped working. There's a significant gap between the door and the frame. The door has 2 slide locks in addition to the regular door lock. There are addicts in the driveway outside my window. The bed has no support. I regret my prepayment.

  It’s a great find in downtown L.A. that included free parking and breakfast. I arrived late the first night and most of the parking spots were taken. All the other nights were easy to find parking. The front desk staff was friendly when I checked in. They greeted us every time we leave the hotel or return to it. The room was clean and spacious. Breakfast was decent. Overall, it was a great deal. I would stay here agin if we’re in town.

  ⭐️ Disappointing Breakfast Experience 12-27-2025 Saturday I had a very disappointing experience at Holiday Inn Express Los Angeles, especially with the breakfast service. Breakfast was advertised to be available until 10:00 AM for weekends but when I went around 9:15AM, almost everything was already empty, as shown in the attached pictures. There was no effort made to refill the food items. Additionally, there was no water container available in the lobby, which is very inconvenient for guests. I asked the staff about both the breakfast situation and the water, but no one seemed to care or take responsibility. There was no apology, solution, or follow-up. This level of service does not meet the expectations of a Holiday Inn Express property. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and improves guest service and accountability in the future.

  Not sure where to start when it comes to speaking about this hotel. We absolutely love Holiday Inns and we have stayed at them many times. When thinking about traveling we always look straight into Holiday Inn.The hotel itself is lovely. It is very clean and the suite we stayed in was super spacious. It came with a King sized bed and a pull out couch/bed. However,it’s not what we had originally purchased. We purchased a double bed through a different website and they were not able to match that since it may have been an issue through the 3rd party. I suggest you make sure to call the hotel if you have any questions prior to booking and also read the reviews before making your reservation. The location is OVERLY PACKED with homeless people. location : I truly can’t even give the location 1 star. It was terrible. Upon arrival Outside of the parking garage as we came in there was two people injecting one another with some sort of d(rug although this is not in their control it was saddening and scary to see and think this is where you’ll be staying . As we turned into the garage there was one person sitting right inside the parking garage almost infront of the lobby and they were also doing drugs and laying there . cleanliness: extremely clean. we were here for two nights and we had clean towels both days. amenities: They have breakfast from 7-10am on the weekends and 6:30-9:30am on the weekdays. They offered fruit,oatmeal,coffee,bagels,muffins,toast, egg white with spinach, sausage patties, vegetable mix, biscuits and gravy. Their pancake machine was broken. Free WiFi

  I can say that this hotel can be a value option for a short stay in Los Angeles. We stayed for one night on 6 August while traveling to Anaheim. The Reception as well as Kitchen staff were very helpful and courteous, and even the breakfast was good. However, the surroundings felt quite creepy and somewhat filthy, which was a downside. That said, since our stay was very short, we chose to overlook these aspects. For a brief overnight stop, the hotel serves its purpose reasonably well.
