I had a terrible experience at this hotel, primarily due to an appalling lack of customer service and basic housekeeping. I stayed in Room 501.
1. No Housekeeping: On Feb 21st, our room was completely skipped for housekeeping. We never requested to skip service and had no "Do Not Disturb" sign up. We came back late at night to an untouched, messy room (I have time-stamped photos to prove it).
2. Appalling Front Desk Attitude: I went to the front desk on Feb 22nd at exactly 11:00 AM to report this. The lady working the desk gave me ZERO explanations and not a single apology. It was entirely the hotel's fault, yet she showed no basic courtesy.
3. Shifting the Blame: Instead of helping a guest standing right in front of her, she dismissively told me to contact my third-party booking platform. It’s ridiculous that the hotel gladly takes the profit from third-party bookings, but completely shifts the blame when their own staff fails to clean a room. They couldn't even offer a simple, verbal "sorry."
4. Rude Behavior: To make matters worse, while I was reaching for the manager's business card on the counter, I accidentally knocked over a "restroom key" card. The front desk lady fiercely and rudely snapped at me to "put it back."
Complete lack of accountability, incredibly rude staff, and skipped housekeeping. Completely unacceptable for a Hilton Garden Inn. I strongly recommend avoiding this place unless they seriously improve their management and staff training.

Not sure if the hotel and restaurant run together, but whoever’s in charge needs to step in. Service was really slow, especially for such a limited menu, no reason for that kind of delay. The bartender, Brian, seemed overwhelmed and checked out, and the bar itself wasn’t very clean. The food was okay, just nothing memorable. Overall, it feels understaffed and poorly managed, and that’s what really ruined the experience.

Great location. We stayed just one night. The hotel staff were nice. The beds were comfy enough, but not comfy enough for a multiple night stay.
My main issue was the valet staff, who would not give me a ticket for my car, even after completing check in. He said “you can get one when you come back” as we were leaving. Which caused some confusion with the oncoming shift when being questioned on why I don’t have a ticket or the other part placed in my car yet. The confusion and continued conversation caused us a delay is getting back upstairs to get changed for our evening reservations.
Easy check out. But disappointing being charged for handicapped / active duty military parking. Most CA laws do not enforce handicapped parking fees.
Room provided a coffee maker, hotel staff provided us with K-cups. But the machine requires water, and there is no way of filling it with water without paying for each bottle. If coffee is complimentary, there should be a way to utilize it properly and free of charge if it’s complimentary. And yes, we could’ve used tap water. But most of those machines require filtered water for the longevity of the machine.
