If you want bed bugs, elevators that constantly break, and love to be woken up at 4am by their workers unions protesting fair wages then this is the hotel for you!

This is the worst hotel I have lived in America. This is a very basic hotel charging five-star prices. It's run-down, old, and small; the bathroom has mold, the rooms are tiny, and parking costs $55 a day.
I can't describe my disappointment. I booked it through Trip.com and forgot to check the real reviews on Google Maps. Its Trip.com ratings were so high that it made me choose between it and the Hilton. This hotel clearly had its reviews artificially inflated on other platforms, as the Google Maps rating is vastly different from the Trip.com rating.
Don't book this hotel! Don't waste your money and ruin your trip. This hotel is only worth $50 a day, not nearly $300. $50 is more than enough.

Old building refubed 10 years ago and it feels it. Staff are great, rooms work and are clean. Horrible depressing TFI, looks like an airport restaurant, on site to be avoided.location is tough as it's v near all the tourist mess in Hollywood where after 4 minutes you feel like leaving.
Pool at the back is not busy and has road noise. Elevator was not working for all 4 days I was there, that should not happen for that long. Maids use elevator in morning So a 15 min wait with 7 floors.
Front desk was v helpful. Price is better than Lowes nearby, there is. Best Western as well.
Next time I will stay in West Hollywood proper near Sunset Marquis which is a better location.

An average Garden Inn. Nice and clean enoug, if a little dated. Only one elevator working when we stayed for 2 nights in Oct-25, which was very slow, leading to up to ten minutes wait. Also no shower gel provided in the bathroom which in 2025 feels unacceptable. The pool area was sunny and well kept, and the jacuzzi actually worked (a rarity at a Hilton!)

I anticipated a lovely experience because it's fridays of course, but in a hotel. Unfortunately my experience was terrible as there were only 2 couples in the bar, and the waitress served soda wrong and attempted to charge for green beans that were not available. I'm willing to give them another shot, because they are fairly new and may need to get the kinks out.. Hopefully things pick up fast, because hollywood bowl crowd can be quite hectic. Also menu is very limited
