When I arrived, there were 4 staffs at the counter and no one even looked at me nor greeted me. It took them 5-10 mins to realize I was there to check me in. At check-in, the staff didn't look at me at all.
After checking out, I waited at the lobby for the shuttle because it was a cold raining afternoon. When I saw the shuttle approaching, I gathered my one suitcase and walked towards the door. The shuttle barely stopped, he slowed down and when he didn't see anyone, he took off.
The room was quiet, clean and comfortable.
Overall an unpleasant experience.

Our stay at Hilton Garden Inn was fantastic from start to finish. We returned here for the 2nd time. The staff at the front desk Mr. Ernie were incredibly professional, welcoming and gave us (family) the best 5 star service.
His service was extraordinary with a compassion heart and kindness.
Our room was spotless, the bed was remarkably comfortable, and the blackout curtains were a lifesaver for sleeping in. After a long travel and tiredness we felt so refreshed the next day.
On top of that, the hotel's location was perfect—just a short walk to the McDonald's, petrol kiosk and Subway.
We particularly loved the breakfast buffet at the hotel, which had a wide variety of fresh options and food was super delicious. Staff Kimberly was courteous and helpful to serve us the best.
It's so convenient to the Airport as they provide shuttle services. We were so happy and satisfied.
Thank you Mr. Ernie for making our stay unforgettable and memorable. This hotel is highly recommend everyone visiting Los Angeles LAX!

Comfortable enough for a single night. Hotel is more worn than it appears in the photos, elevators are old and janky, etc. It's a remodeled old La Quinta I gather based on the elevator certificate. Nevertheless the room was perfectly fine.
I probably would've rated 4 stars except for the shuttle service when I arrived (close to 11pm). First, The shuttle took much longer than others that I saw come by 2-3 times before the Hilton Garden Inn came past. The shuttle driver was incredibly rude, scolding me for attempting to stand. There was literally 1 seat open along the window being blocked by a large man who obviously did not want to move. He yelled at that guy too to "move over!" Which felt unnecessary and brash to say the least. To top it off he drove very unsafe, honking at everyone, turning at high speeds etc. meanwhile it's 11pm with very little traffic. This man should not be operating the shuttle. The shuttle driver the following morning was very much the opposite, polite and professional.
Overall your standard 3 star airport hotel. I would stay again.

Carolina very unprofessional & not caring at all! I am sadden to have chosen this hotel for my son. My 18 year old son came in to town to explore colleges. I booked his hotel for two days under his name, when I extended his stay one more day, at re-check in time Carolina chose not to re-check him in stating “ You have to be 21 and older to check in.” He was already checked in prior for 2 days under his name, she chose to kick him to the streets knowing he did nothing wrong! My wife called explaining the situation, freaking out for our sons safety, she asked to speak to a manager carolina stated “the manager on shift on November 6 that “he was in a meeting” and she chose not to help us or care to help us figure out a solution, knowing I was on my way to the hotel. She chose to leave my son homeless sitting at McDonald for 5 hours at night until I finally arrived. Once I arrived to hotel they told me “If he was already staying he could of just stayed and 18 and older is is fine at that hotel”. ( I guess no one knows the rules in this building) Carolina told my wife that the website states 21 and older & even though it does say it on the Website they still allows him to stay and check him in because the booking was under his name. It took me 7 hours of flight to get to LAX from Florida to address this issue. As soon as I arrive I find my son in McDonald’s sad and scared, it was getting dark & he was surrounded by homeless people on the streets at the McDonalds. We get back to the hotel & they apologized to me, upgraded our room and mentioned to me “18 and older was fine. He was already staying there 2 days! and Carolina chose to be uncaring and very unprofessional with my wife on the phone. Carolina did not care for my sons safety or cared to advise us in a solution. I will never recommend this building to anyone that has children exploring colleges in town, especially when you have people like Carolina making management decisions knowing she is not a manager! When asked to speak to a manager knowing this was an emergency situation, she lied by stating “The manager was in a meeting” & chose not to help my son!! I met that paticular manager that chose not to get on the phone when my wife’s called & I asked him “why did you ignored my wife? He stated “I didn’t” I am a 5 star company on Google with many reviews, I am also a part time travel agent that blogs. This will be exposed to the community. We can not allow these corp to not care about our children safety. They need to do better! Over all the stay was good, security is super awesome and attentive, food was good, some cool bartenders that joke and laugh. Everyone else I met from the team at that hotel was very friendly. I stayed until Saturday enjoying the hotel accommodations. UPDATE: Woke up Sat Morning at 7am to take a shower, I have an important event I am sponsoring & have to be there by 9. I called the office from the room at 7am to get towels & toilet paper, after 8 attempts no one answers so I decide to go downstairs a little frustrated and the morning front desk women tells me “ I have to wait for housekeeping to come at 8am. I have a to be somewhere by 9 and the location is an hour away, now I will be late because I have to wait for housekeeping to arrive for towels and toilet paper. SMH This building needs to do better!

Worst Experience Ever at a Hilton Property – Avoid at All Costs
I’ve stayed at countless Hilton properties around the world, but the Hilton Garden Inn LAX is by far the worst experience I’ve ever had.
After a long international flight, I waited over an hour for their so-called “shuttle service.” When it finally arrived, the driver was rude and insulting. The van was overcrowded with people who weren’t even staying at the hotel, and there was no space for anyone’s luggage. To make matters worse, the ride took nearly 20 minutes to cover what should’ve been a five-minute drive.
When I finally got to the hotel, I calmly explained my frustration to the front desk attendant — a man who couldn’t have cared less. He gave me a smug, dismissive attitude and told me to “speak to the manager in the morning.” When I objected to that level of indifference after what I’d been through, the staff escalated the situation instead of resolving it and ultimately refused to check me in — after I had already waited over an hour just to get there.
This property is a complete disgrace to the Hilton brand. The service is unprofessional, the staff are untrained and disrespectful, and the entire arrival process is a chaotic mess. If you’re flying into LAX and value your time, money, or dignity — stay anywhere else.
