This place exceeded our expectations by providing the service that was standard 15 years ago (how sad is that). Our room was hot so they sent up a technician at 11:30 PM to fix the A/C. The free breakfast actually included eggs, sausage, and hash browns or an omelette as well as the usual items. Service was friendly and the place, although a bit dated, was very clean. I highly recommend them for your stay. Just be careful with Uber or lift as there is an identical name but "south" in place of " north" because you can't see the whole name in the apps we went to the wrong one and had to Uber to the North one. Cheers

Would have given it a five star review but overnight staff on 1/7/25 was very lazy and on their phone when we came down to the front desk and asked for help. They didn't even attempt to get up and check on what we asked for. Other than that the stay was great and the rest of the day staff was very helpful and pleasant.

We walked from terminal one as I didn't want to mess with the shuttle, as I find that often takes longer, particularly when it has to go the wrong way around the entire airport as it would have to do from terminal one. Make sure to cross right away if you walk, at the Hyatt Regency intersection. Google maps took us up a block and you can't cross anywhere other than that first light so we had to backtrack. Walk took 20 minutes assuming you don't make the mistake we made. Rooms are standard embassy suites rooms. Beds a little softer than normal. Water pressure a little worse than normal. Breakfast was good, and the lady making omelettes was efficient and nice. They have a Peloton in the fitness center, which is great. Hot tub is nice and hot. Corner rooms don't have extra windows, and rooms have small balconies you can stand on. Some noise from airport and the annoying crazy drivers who zoom around LA with ridiculous cars. Curtains could be better at blocking out light in the morning. All in all a solid choice for an airport hotel.

I had a terrible experience at Embassy Suites by Hilton Los Angeles. I stayed from December 26 to 28, booked two rooms for two nights, and already paid USD 907. On top of that, during check-in they demanded a USD 400 refundable deposit and charged CAD 70 for parking. At checkout, to my shock, they kept USD 302 from my deposit. When I called the hotel to question this, they casually said these are “additional charges” that are usually charged by all hotels in Los Angeles. That explanation is completely unacceptable. This hotel feels like a money looting business. They charge for everything, including parking, and the price you see while booking is NOT the final amount. They later add hidden fees that are never clearly explained upfront. On top of all this, you cannot sleep properly in the room. Light keeps coming into the room because there are no proper blackout curtains. The room never gets dark, which makes it very difficult to sleep. Please avoid this hotel if you care about good sleep. I strongly do NOT recommend this hotel. If you want transparency, peace of mind, and a good night’s sleep, stay somewhere else. Very disappointing and frustrating experience.
