We spent a week here and loved this hotel. Previously, we had stayed twice at the Marriott nearby, but it has become subpar, and we wanted to try something different. We are so glad we found the Cameo. It's a remodeled Hilton luxury hotel with balconies for every room.
From our 9th floor room on the north side, we had a million dollar view of Century City and the Hollywood Hills. We spent a lot of time just enjoying that view every day at sunset!
Our room was newly remodeled with all new furnishings and a sophisticated interior lighting system. (For example, there's motion-activated undersink lighting in the bathroom that is helpful late at night.) There's also a waterfall-style shower head, with a separate hand shower wand, and lots of hot water pressure. Very nice.)
The room had a huge flat screen TV with Netflix, AppleTV, Disney, Tubi and YouTube apps preinstalled on it (Our only con: we could not get our FireTV stick to work with their TV, so we could not watch HBO/Max, Amazon Prime, Peacock or Paramount. It would be nice to have more than just 3 streaming apps preinstalled on the TV.)
The location is outstanding. Easy access to everything in Beverly Hills. Walking distance to a nearby Pavillions grocery store, the Fish Grill is across the street and Factor's Famous Deli is 3 blocks east. The hotel has an excellent lounge and a nice restaurant with room service.
The king size bed was very comfortable. I would call it medium soft, so I used a lumbar support pillow. The table by the bed is set up for a CPAP system.
The staff were amazingly helpful and very courteous. Simply outstanding. As I was there for a surgery and recovery, I had special needs, including a small microwave, a refrigerator and an electric hot water kettle for tea. They brought all those appliances up and set them up for us.
We got a complimentary champagnecl on arrival - a really nice touch, and even more endearing, after our week-long stay, our hostess, Dessy, arranged for us to get a complimentary chocolate brownie a la mode with champagne for our final evening there.
We have traveled all over the US, Canada and Mexico, and this was without any doubt the most enjoyable hotel experience we have ever had.
This hotel is still undergoing some minor interior renovations, a little bit at a time, but our room was nice and quiet. Any construction noise was limited to daytime hours and should not interfere with an enjoyable stay at this hotel.
As we would have normally stayed at the BH Marriott, this hotel is slightly more expensive, but it is well worth the extra cost. It is a destination unto itself. You will not be disappointed.

The Cameo delivers truly excellent service.
The lobby is beautiful and calming, and the rooms are very clean, comfortable and well appointed. What really sets the hotel apart is the people. Every interaction felt effortless and genuinely welcoming. From the bell and valet staff, to the front desk and front office manager, to the hostess, server, bartender, and even the engineering team -- everyone was very helpful, warm and puts you immediately at ease. Having managed hotels and restaurants, I know that kind of consistency and true hospitality doesn’t happen by accident. It is a culture that is cultivated through careful hiring, training and modelling authentic care for guests. Well done to all the staff!
It’s incredibly refreshing to enter a space where professionalism and warmth are the standard of all staff.
A lovely hotel, elevated by exceptional people. I would absolutely stay here again.
When this was Mr Cs it was much better. The staff is great and very friendly. The food is blah. The rooms are ok but we didn't have hot water but half the time. Then you had to turn the sink faucet on and then the shower to get hot water. When I complained about it all they did was send and engineer who did the same thing every time. It would work that time and then not again.
It's not worth 500-600 a night. Beverly Hilton is much better.

Cameo Beverly Hills is a quaint boutique hotel that is nestled into the community and surrounded by homes. The area is very quiet and calm. Cameo property is well designed with nice decor and a classy but welcoming feel. Check-in was very smooth with Eudgie who was friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. Next stop was the bar where Elizabeth was the bartender. She made an excellent old fashioned & was a pleasure to talk to. Other areas of the hotel that were handled with perfection were bell service and valet. Sam & Eric helped pull our car up & pack the luggage into the trunk. They definitely had the service attitude which was appreciated. Also, in-room dining has delicious truffle fries and a well-made margherita pizza. Yum.
If you're looking for a peaceful place to stay, Cameo will get the job done. You'll be a short uber ride to The Grove & The Original Farmers Market, along with other LA hotspots!
