People were nice, room was clean and somewhat updated. Elevator was broken and inwas told itnhad been out of service for quite some time. Not fun when your room is on the 3rd floor. Butnif you want to stay in Chinatown (not sure why on purpose) its ok. Was close to my company office or I would have stayed elsewhere.

I recently stayed two nights at Hotel Aiden in the heart of Chinatown, near Dodger Stadium. The location is convenient, and they offer underground parking at a decent rate, but unfortunately, my experience was far from pleasant. The problems started as soon as we parked — the elevators were out of service, and we were parked two floors below the lobby. I had to carry my 50-pound luggage up two flights of stairs, and after checking in, we were assigned to the third floor, meaning three more flights of stairs. I had just undergone minor surgery earlier that morning, so this was extremely difficult. I feel the hotel should clearly notify guests ahead of time when something as essential as elevators isn’t working, especially for anyone with mobility issues. Despite this, they were still charging full price. The next day, while my wife went to the store, housekeeping entered the room unexpectedly. I was in the bathroom at the time, and we made eye contact — it was an embarrassing and uncomfortable situation. I immediately reported it to the front desk, but later found the housekeeper waiting outside my room asking what the problem was, which made things even more awkward. It seemed like there was a language barrier, and the situation was not handled professionally. To make matters worse, the second night was extremely noisy. Loud music and cars from the street made it feel like we were next to a racetrack — our windows were literally vibrating. When I called the front desk, they said there was nothing they could do since the noise came from outside. On a positive note, the hotel does offer free breakfast and has a small coffee shop where guests can grab complimentary drinks, which was nice. But overall, the negatives far outweighed the positives. In summary: the hotel should clearly inform guests about the elevator outage, improve communication and staff training, and consider some form of compensation for the inconvenience. Until these issues are resolved, I wouldn’t recommend staying here — especially if you have luggage, mobility concerns, or just want a quiet night’s rest.

Das Preis Leistungsverhältnis ist eher unterer Durchschnitt. In Europa wäre es absolut nicht gegangen. Für LA wie gesagt unterer Durchschnitt. Fahrstuhl war kaputt, Zimmer sind sehr hellhörig. Zimmer selbst prinzipiell Sauber und OK
