- JBJohn Ballard1 day ago2.0The bad: The room (206) stunk a little bit. Almost swampy. The door to the room did not fit well and there was big gaps on the side and on the bottom. The gaps in the door let in light and sound all night. The top side of the door molding was rotting and the paint on the door was peeling. The fabric chair in the room looked filthy. The Wi-Fi was slow and Verizon cell service was also slow in this area ( not sure if the block walls surrounding the property reduce signal). There was what appeared to be a methamphetamine enthusiast frolicking through the parking lot at one point. The Good: The air conditioning works great. There is a microwave, refrigerator, and coffee maker in the room. The breakfast food area is tiny and the options are limited. The area where you get the food is really close to the tables, which makes it feel really cramped. Overall this did not feel like a Best Western. I had originally booked another hotel but was skeptical so I booked this Best Western. It was a mistake. I had booked the room for two nights but checked out after only one night.

Only thing not perfect was that there was no gauge on the refrigerator and it was freezing my beverages. Highly recommend to anyone who needs a hotel near LA and Orange County.
