    I stayed here for two weeks Mar-Apr 2026. I would not recommend this hotel and will not stay here again. Overall, the hotel is no better than any other neighboring hotel, same price or more than most others, and there are too many negatives to recommend the hotel in a positive way. Best to pass on this place; it is not competitive for the area. The hotel is nice and the main facilities are clean, but they only clean your rooms once every 5 days; if the 5th day lands on a weekend they wait until Monday. The cleaning staff and reception desk employees are friendly, but the manager is shady and passive aggressive. I stayed under a government reservation and was charged $30/day for taxes and it took my entire stay fighting with the manager before he agreed to remove the taxes despite me showing multiple documents to prove I was there for work. After they removed the taxes, they added a parking fee for $30/day; what a coincidence that it was the exact same amount as the taxes they fought hard not to remove.

    Had an excellent stay at Staybridge Suites Long Beach Airport, and Diana made it even better. Her customer service was outstanding, friendly, professional, and went above and beyond to help. Really appreciate the great experience she provided!

    So hotels aren't telling the hotel guest that if you want your dirty towels and trash taken from the room to place the items outside in the hallway near the door to your room. The hotel claimed to offer room service. So when I called the front desk the hotel rep answers, I ask for a menu and or number to order food and he gives me a number to call. I call the number and I'm talking back to the front desk. So I explain to the other person what just happened and she says oh, we don't have room service. The flyer that was on the elevator is to the hotel next to us. You'll have to go over there to get food. I'm thinking why are they advertising for the hotel next door. That just for our hopes up thinking we can order food to our room. Now the location is great if you flew into town for a business meeting. The early morning complimentary breakfast isn't too bad. The pool isn't heated. The laundry room will cost and you need to bring your own laundry soap. Bring your own towels because you will wait over a hour if your needing clean towels. At least in the evening because staff is limited. Rooms are nice and clean except for the sheets. Happy travels

    Me and my friends stayed at one of the suites for three nights and our rooms were not maintained a single time. We ran out of towels and had mountains of dirty towels piled up. They did not take our trash out to the point that all of our bins were overflowing and starting to smell. This continued even after I specifically requested to have our room cleaned. When it wasn’t and I came down to the service desk, the lady at the front counter was extremely rude and told me to change the trash out myself. There are stickers on the mirrors saying that the rooms are cleaned Monday through Friday. The lady questioned me and denied what I can see with my own two eyes. This is not at all what I expected from this hotel. Awful experience. I would not recommend.

    I have been an IHG Rewards member for over 20 years and have consistently chosen Holiday Inn properties nationwide. In all that time, I have never been charged for parking at a standard open-lot location like this. I booked this stay at $177 per night (over $200 with taxes and fees). There was no clear, upfront disclosure of a $15 parking charge during the reservation process. Only upon arrival was I informed that if I had a vehicle, I would be charged — or risk being towed. That is unacceptable. This is not a downtown property with valet service or a structured parking garage. It is a wide, open surface lot. The issue is not the $15 — it’s the lack of transparency and the way it was presented at check-in. Telling a loyal 20-year customer to “check the fine print” after the fact is not customer service. It feels like a bait-and-switch. IHG’s brand is built on trust and loyalty. Undisclosed parking fees damage that trust. If policies have changed, they need to be clearly and prominently disclosed before payment is taken — not after arrival. After two decades with this brand, this experience was disappointing and unnecessary.
