- JRJohn RogersNov 17, 20252.0Guest BEWARE!!! you will be charged a$150 “INCIDENTAL “ fee in addition to you room fee! This is not mentioned at check in! Nor is it mentioned while booking your room! So SURPRISE! your travel budget has been cut without any warning. By the way it takes up to three days to get that back! The check process was cold and rapid! Without reason. Walked up to the counter and was asked for my ID and CC. No Hi, Hello, good evening etc. No acknowledgment of IHG membership, or appreciation for choosing to stay there. Our room smelled mold, the bathroom had mold in and around the shower and the ceiling vent appeared to be growing a beard. The bed was clean and the rest of the room also appeared clean. This is not what I have come to expect from HIE. We have stayed with them for years across the country, I have not had an experience this disappointing before!

The buffer breakfast is free with your stay and the staff working the kitchen makes sure the food is always hot and there is plenty of food for everyone. The Manager there is also so kind and amazing. I am there almost monthly to check on my brother who liss his wife after 27 years. The staff are all just so kind and helpful. The rooms are a lithle dated but are clean but the owner, in time, needs to do some upgrading. But again, the rooms are clean and the staff are amazing.

On Saturday October 18, 2025 in the evening we got back to our room and found that the maid service had not done anything to clean the room, make beds, take out the trash or replace dirty towels. The front desk clerk was notified and was very helpful in getting new towels and taking out the trash. We left 3 messages with the front desk clerks asking for the manager Jesse Romero to contact us. As of today October 22, 2025 we have yet to receive any return phone call from Mr. Romero
