The staff is very friendly and accommodating and the breakfast was quite good as well. It’s also pretty much walkable to several restaurants and eateries.

The room was spacious and the beds were comfortable. My one complaint is the shower, there is mold, some staining and the water was warm, not hot.

So SURPRISE! your travel budget has been cut without any warning. By the way it takes up to three days to get that back! The check process was cold and rapid! Without reason. Walked up to the counter and was asked for my ID and CC. No Hi, Hello, good evening etc. No acknowledgment of IHG membership, or appreciation for choosing to stay there. Our room smelled mold, the bathroom had mold in and around the shower and the ceiling vent appeared to be growing a beard. The bed was clean and the rest of the room also appeared clean. This is not what I have come to expect from HIE. We have stayed with them for years across the country, I have not had an experience this disappointing before!
