We were on a road trip and booked this room very late and last minute. The front desk staff at check-in was really kind and helpful, which made a long travel day much easier. We needed to add our dog after booking and switch to a dog-friendly room, and they had no problem making the adjustment.
We didn’t use any of the hotel facilities or have breakfast, but the room itself was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. Overall, a smooth and stress-free stay — exactly what we needed for a quick overnight stop.

Since we were using it as a quick sleepover during the long load trip, I did not expect high quality. But, I was so amazed by the clean and near conditions of the room, and bathroom. Also, they provide lots of charging ports for your personal electric devices and the wall plugs. The staffs were super nice and professional. They even put my last name on a small boards on the wall for recognition of my IHG status. (big surprise!)
Finally, complimentary breakfast quality was amazing. They also served freshly ground and brewedcoffee with a nice machine from “Costa” coffee.
Sadly, I did not have a chance to take a pictures beside of that wall frame.

I highly recommend this hotel. The rooms are roomy, very clean and the staff is great. We had a mix up with the reservation and were double charged - not the hotel's fault but with the American Airlines booking agent. Helen at the front desk, went far and above in helping us straighten it out. I can not give her enough accolades. She took care of everything including talking with the booking agent to see what went wrong and straightened everything out, including getting our refund for the over charge.

This is the first holiday inn in the area that is very disappointing, as a IHG member, I always feel welcome eveytime, however, this place, especially the older man with white/long hair. He is very rude and unprofessional. He seem to be frustrated with the nunber of foot traffic going on around since they were fully booked and kick people out. We were there due to the gas leak where the freeway was shut down and everywhere packed with cars and people.
I made a reservation thinking it was for today 12/27 but turn out it was for 12/28/25.
So when I first approached the front desk, I was greeted with this younger lady (very nice, undestanding) then the guy from behind the counter took over and check my confirmation and told they dont have anything for today and only see my name for tomorrow check in tomorrow instead. so I told him i accidentally booked for tmr instead of tonight and asked him for advice how to cancel it since I desperately needed just for one night. He just shut me off and be like well, I dont know , go back to wherever I got my booking and cancel from there. (I literally booked on the IHG website).
#2. We tried to use the restroom and was told it's not available anymore due to somebody made a huge mess in the toilet and he doesn't want to do another deep clean so he brushed us off while we have 1 elderly and a toddler.
Important fact is we are customers too, just not until tomorrow and that how he unwelcome us so we ended up going elsewhere and cancel the booking.
I would say this type of customers service really needs to be changed to gain more customers. Very impolite and ghetto as he put up his frustration from other guest toward new guests. He probably thinks he is more senarioty. I will not visit this place ever again.
So disappointing, and feeling unwelcome. we had dealing with hrs stucking in this horrible traffic jam due to the gas leak and exhausted from driving and still getting hard time from this place.

We stayed there two weeks ago and had a very nice stay. This time we got a room with broken black out blinds which meant we were up with the sun and a thermostat that would just let the heat/AC run without stopping which was a nightmare.
Last time everyone was very nice but this time everyone was a little aloof and very grumpy, except the front desk lady in the morning who was very nice and exceptionally helpful.
The worst part though is that in spite of asking when I went down to breakfast at 8:30 to check out an hour late, the first knock came at 9:30, and then between 10am and 11:03 I had 3 separate housekeeping staff knock and try to enter my room while trying to get a little extra sleep before getting on the road to make up for the fact that I couldn't sleep well due to the broken black out blind.
The last time I heard a discussion with the people outside who said I had requested a late check out and they finally left me alone. I don't understand why any hotel is still doing this these days. It's literally the reason breakfast became so popular in hotels, it gets people out the door before checkout. Carrot > stick. People hate the hours of having their door knocked on to make sure they get out in time and breakfast is a great motivation and saves overtime pay. Why do both? Also, many chains have changed their housekeeping staffing model to remove pressure caused by perks like late checkout, reducing the urgency of getting people out the door before their scheduled check out time.
When I did get up (sooner than I wanted) I noticed the swing lock was standing straight out. No longer locking the door (which i had made sure to lock due to prior knocks) nor up against the wall. Sticking straight out. So whomever entered, apparently that last time I'd guess, somehow got the swing lock open, and did it so quickly and easily that in the couple of seconds between them knocking and opening the door and closing it again that I was completely unaware.
That's terrifying. What good are those locks if they can be overcome silently in a matter of seconds?
I travel a lot, by the end of the year I'll be Platinum with IHG, which will be my third loyalty program I'll have maxed out this year. Things happen. I get it. This lock thing really shook me up.
I really wish I'd taken the time to review two weeks prior because the two stays were so night and day different it's hard to believe it's the same property. Based on 2 weeks ago, it would have been 5 stars. Today its 2, and that's only because of the front desk lady and the fact that their breakfast is phenomenal.
