  One of the best IHG Hotels in the US but that is not hard to get bcs the rest is below average. Nice Voco style everywhere. Rooms are nice decorated and amenities are good - only downside is the noise from the interstate on the poolside too. Paying for parking seems unfortunaly to be standard now in not direct city destinations too. All in all a good stay and I will choose this Hotel (beside the Indigo Del Mar) again.

  Stayed a night this week. I cannot recommend this hotel. I've stayed in thousands of hotels I think, but this is one with a very disturbing LOUD air conditioning unit. I had to turn it off, but then the room got very warm as it was 82 degrees out. The noise kicked in and out. There were moments every 20 minutes where it got REALLY loud and the whole room shook a little, as if a semi truck drove close by. I slept very poorly because of this. Don't stay here. I told the front desk about it around midnight, but was told most rooms probably had a similar AC issue. But the nice employee was willing to try to find another room if I wished. I opted out because I thought it wouldn't yield good results. They need to fix those ACs. The kind worker also offered to send a technician up, but I was told it may not yield a good result as well. So I just accepted it. Also, the bathroom door is a joke. Lol. A cheap sliding wooden white door that does NOT close all the way nor latch. Just dumb. The beds and pillows were very comfortable, and the room seemed clean and didnt smell. Unfortunately, I won't stay again, nor can I recommend it to anyone unless they can sleep through anything.

  Very disappointed in the attitude of the gal at the front desk. We went there with a day pass to use the facilities only to find out the restaurant was closed and the pool was not heated. No apology. I understand she is not the owner but the front desk is the face of the hotel and customer service is so huge. We literally called our Uber back to pick us up. What a waste of the day. They clearly did not want our business because she didn’t even offer us a glass of water while we waited. Such a bad vibe.

  I've thoroughly enjoyed every stay I've had here in the last year. This is my 4th or 5th stay and the property and staff remains top notch. I really like catching up with Ruben in the dining room. One of the best to ever do it. I look forward to my next stay as always.

  I stayed one night at Hotel Voco in Laguna Beach while in between destinations. The hotel itself was nice the rooms were luxurious, modern, and comfortable. The amenities were well thought out, and the staff was kind and helpful throughout my stay. That said, I can’t give it 5 stars because of the parking fee. They charged $15 for parking, but the lot was just an open, uncovered space with plenty of availability nothing secured or premium about it. Charging guests for basic parking in that setting felt unnecessary and a bit like nickel-and-diming, which left a bad taste in my mouth. Overall, it was a comfortable stay, but the parking policy makes me unsure if I would choose to stay here again.
