We have stayed at LQRC twice and it has delivered both times. Most recently, we stayed in one of the spa villas. The first time we stayed in a Casita.

We attended a beautiful wedding and reception at La Quinta Hotel and spa. We were there for a long weekend full of activities and all of the employees we came in contact with were great but two people were really are standouts. We are seniors and we really appreciated Pedro Nava the kind and friendly driver who shuttled us around and kept us from being late or lost. Rosica a massage therapist at the spa who gave me the best massage I’ve ever had! Lovely people like these two make us want to return again soon. C.G.Flores

Overpriced for everything. The place is old, well kept, but should not cost as much as it does for everything, due to the age.

I’ve never felt so unsafe, disregarded, and disrespected at a hotel. I stayed at La Quinta Resort for my bachelorette trip and had the most shocking experience. On the night of Sept 13 we came back to our suite around 11:45 PM and were hit by a strong gas odor. We immediately left and reported it. The engineer who showed up tried to tell us there wasn't a smell, we said we needed another opinion because we all smelled it as soon as the door was opened and were scared to sleep there. Joe, the engineer, mocked us and dismissed our concern, saying things like, “I must not know what I’m doing then.” or "I can't wait to be done with this place in 2 years.: His attitude was condescending and made us feel unsafe in what was clearly an emergency and could have caused harmed to us. After requesting a second opinion, manager, Marco, eventually confirmed there was in fact a gas leak and moved us to another room, promising a resort credit would be issued the next day. But the new room lacked the extra bed we’d booked. We were repeatedly told a rollaway was on the way, yet hours passed and nothing came. By this time it's 2:20 AM one of my guests had to sleep on the floor using pillows after being told the last bed was broken. The next day the Director of Operations apologized and promised the situation and the credit would be handled. Instead, after we left, the resort ignored our calls and we were actually charged for the rollaway bed we never received. It took two weeks of chasing them just to get a receipt so I could see this charge, after trying to confirm with the hotel what this charge was for, I never got an answer. Between the serious safety hazard of an active gas leak, the mocking and dismissive attitude of staff, the lack of responsibility by management, and the wrongful charges, this experience was beyond unacceptable. I left feeling appalled, disgusted, and genuinely worried for any future guests who might face an emergency here. Save yourself the stress and stay somewhere else.
