  This review is sort of mixed. It comes from a safety and convenience aspect for a school trip with a bunch of teenagers. A lot of the rooms had adjoining doors which we were not made aware of before. This means that students could go from one room to the other even after hours to do what ever. There were no stairs that the guest had access to from the first floor. To me, that's a major problem. The stairs at the end of the hallways on the 2nd floor and above all led to an emergency exit only door with an alarm that would sound because it exits the building on the first floor. If using the sauna or pool, the exit was through all of the conference rooms behind the kitchens and not very well marked. There also was no stairwell from the pool to the upper floors and no access from the pool to the lobby, those doors said staff only. I wasn't able to speak with every student or chaperone about their rooms, but out of the 6 rooms I did, half had issues with either their showers, coffee pot, or lighting. For example, the ADA shower heads were not able to be moved higher on a sliding pole, so those guest had to squat or lean down to have the water go over them. In another room, non-ADA, the shower head was completely missing and they didnt have a Keurig like the other rooms, it was a slow old drop coffee system. For hosting students, the location was great, it was in an industrial area thay no student was going to try to sneak out to go clubbing or do whatever. Im sure if they wanted to, they could get an Uber or Lyft, but due to the distance from anything cool wouod be quite expensive. The breakfast wasn't bad, I dont know how much it actually was because we were on a school trip so I didnt see the breakdown. However, if paying more than $15-20, I would really think about it. Here is what was offered every day: scrambled eggs (not made to order), potatoes with peppers and onions, plain yogurt and strawberry yogurt, oatmeal with options of adding brown sugar and nuts I think, muffins, Danish, and beagles. What rated were French toast and pancakes. Im not sure if there was going to be another rotation, we only had 3 days of breand had French toast on the first and last day and pancakes on the second. They also had water, orange juice, and coffee from a kettle. The only reason Im giving it 3 stars is because of the employees. They were respectful, responsive, courteous, and friendly. There was an In-N-Out on the other side of Harbor Freight, about a 5 minute walk and a Chic-Fil-A across the parking lot of the hotel.

  I wanted to leave a review just to highlight my favorite workers. Gloria on the housekeeping staff was super sweet and interacting with her always brightened my morning. Wish I had a Gloria at every hotel I stayed at! Also the man at the front desk, believe his name is Tristan (didn't get to double check because he wasnt there the day I left) was so helpful. I appreciate how he went out of his was to accommodate me and help me find what I needed! A couple reasons I didnt give 5 stars (normally I don't leave a review that is less) is because the elevators were janky and the water for the shower was rather inconsistent on temperature. Granted, it was a very busy time while I was there, the hotel should be built to withstand the capacity. Also my biggest thing was that the stairs didn't go all the way down to the first floor interior access, only an emergency exit to the pool area. I personally despise any elevators, and these ones I especially did not want to go on, but was forced to for lack of an alterior route. The best solution I had was to use the stair to second floor and only have to go down one floor via elevator. Overall pleased with my stay and it was a convenient location.
