- DMDebbie Mallick5 days ago3.0Room was very dusty upon arrival after still housekeeping serviced room after 1st night. Public restroom in lobby was out of order and being worked on during entire stay. Ice machine on our floor was not working and when a maintenance guy saw me trying to use it, he askes me if I could go to another floor. Although I could go to another floor, why should I have to when this one was just steps from my room. While we were eating breakfast and there was at least 15 minutes left before the breakfast closed, several housekeeping staff came in the breakfast room, locked the door behind them (so locking out anyone else trying to come in). The staff members then proceeded to talk and joke around very loudly in what seemed to be them taking over the breakfast room as their own private break room. It was so loud we didn't even finish our breakfast and left. The location of the hotel is conveniently near the freeway but the sounds of the freeway made this hotel not a quiet place to sleep. The entire property is very old and even though attempts have been made to renovate, the dated rooms showed their age with chipped paint in some places and overpainted in other places, showing poorly touched up areas.

The hot tub had a tube that was super loud that could use a fix but other than that it was great! Esmeralda at the front desk was so friendly! She was accommodating & professional. We will return here in the future.
