    Great location, nice rooms with good size bathrooms.. I dont have any complaints and If I am back in town again most likely I would stay here again..

    The staff was attentive. Carpets in room are new and has what you would need for a short trip and always nice to have use of a robe. The elevator appears to have a slight (?) maintenance issue. I did mention to front desk and they said there was a call into the vendor so hopefully they come soon. I preferred the left elevator (rather than the one on the right). Starbucks coffee in the rooms; but Folgers in the breakfast room. 🤔 It’s ok, great coffee places near by and close to the beach for walks.

    I have lived in the LaJolla area 50 years Had the pleasure of staying with the Empress Family. Recommend highly! Beach just steeps away! Sunsets and SECLUDED BEACHES. Enjoy! Also Allow me to HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE BEST MANHATTAN CLASSIC RESTAURANT ITALIAN CUISINE EXTENSIVE WÃŒNE LIST. MUSIC BY TAD SISLER A GAURNTEED GREAT NIGHT! Michael Yeakle ;Trauma Centers Specialist.

    The kiosks to get into the parking garage are terrible, especially the after hours one. The whole parking situation in general here is awful. The service is terrible here, seems like nobody actually can give me an answer to anything about this hotel or the area around it.
