    Overall, I was not a fan of this hotel. The pictures made it look much nice than it was. Upon arrival my room smelled like fried fish. My suspicion is that the duct / vents were connected to the kitchen. I consistently smelled food. I also heard lots of loud, banging noises in the walls, never found kit what it was. The only redeeming quality about this hotel, is its location in La Jolla in the walk to the beach.

    The staff was attentive. Carpets in room are new and has what you would need for a short trip and always nice to have use of a robe. The elevator appears to have a slight (?) maintenance issue. I did mention to front desk and they said there was a call into the vendor so hopefully they come soon. I preferred the left elevator (rather than the one on the right). Starbucks coffee in the rooms; but Folgers in the breakfast room. 🤔 It’s ok, great coffee places near by and close to the beach for walks.
