  In the middle of nowhere best western hotel was a gem. The rooms are clean and the breakfast is amazing. Price to quality ratio, its right on point. There is also a Tesla charger right next door so it was super convenient. Definitely recommend this spot for travelers.

  Darlene was welcoming, compassionate, cheerful and highly professional. The property was a refurbished motel. There was no elevator and we were able to get a pet friendly room on the first floor, even though the hotel was fully booked. The room was spotless with very nice, very clean furnishings. There was no artwork on the walls. The room had great lighting and a full length mirror. The bathroom was spotless, no hairs anywhere and lots of lovely shower amenities. It wasn’t as spacious as other places I have stayed, but it felt comfortable. The bed was soft and the linens clean and sumptuous. I slept really well. The dog walking areas were clean and well kept. There were many, at least four, well stocked poop bag dispensers with disposal units. The parking lot was big and very well lit. I felt safe walking my little dog. There was a small outdoor pool but it was closed. I did my laundry using the coin operated machines on the second floor. The machines were older models but they worked great and were inexpensive. I was able to complete eight days worth of laundry in less than an hour and a half. The shower was wonderful. There was plenty of hot water and decent water pressure through an adjustable shower head that sang out like a high pitched Yoko Ono. Everyone I met seemed very happy staying here.

  I have stayed the quality inn before and this is much better. Good front staff and housekeeping and especially breakfast attendant. Great air conditioner.

  Our car broke down in Kettleman City late on a Saturday night and we were so lucky to find this Best Western and the amazing staff. We stayed overnight while we worked on a solution for our car. The room was great and the continental breakfast was noticeably better than others — real potatoes, eggs, and bacon were delicious. The staff were the best though — they gave us an extra late checkout as we dealt with the car, then they gave us a ride to the closest auto supply store that was 30 minutes away one way! They were just the kindest people and really saved us. We hadn’t been able to find a shop to work on the car or even a Lyft or Uber to get parts. If not for their help we would have probably been stranded substantially longer. Thank you so much to everyone who helped!
