  these people told me they were only gonna charge me $100 security deposit and then they lied to me and charged a $200 security deposit when I reach out to the manager he assured me that I would be refunded as soon as I checked out, it’s been four days later and I still have no refund

  Stayed with my family at the hotel while visiting Knotts scary farm. Upon check-in, the lady behind the desk was very very nice. I don’t remember her name, but she was very nice and very helpful. She was kind enough to let us know that past 10 o’clock. We would need our key to get it back into the hotel. Which I thought was very good and felt safe doing that. Upon entering our room, it was very nice. Two bedroom very spacious. And beds are very comfortable. The bathrooms were very clean. The following day, for breakfast it was a really good breakfast. They had a pancake maker, scrambled eggs, omelettes, yogurt, etc. a very good selection. I will definitely be staying there again. It was a great experience. Everybody is very hospitable. As you’re walking, hotel staff all greets you upon seeing you. Which is very nice and refreshing as this is something you don’t get anymore. Thank you all for welcoming us. Forgot to mention that overnight parking is $15 which is really good!

  Pros: close enough to drive to attractions Cheaper than other places Cons: You get what you pay for No identification needed to get access to someones room Breakfast not good Paid parking Cleaning subpar Extremely noisy Not the best neighborhood. The fact that they have to buzz you in makes that clear if you hadnt already realized. Front desk personnel: every single one of the girls was buried in their phones and wouldnt even look up from them to greet guests as they walked by. When i forgot my keycard the girl was on her phone when i walked up so i can only assume she also had an earphone in which would explain why she couldnt hear me. She asked my room number and i corrected her when she said the wrong number. She didnt ask for identification and when i asked about it she just said she remembers me. I was thinking thats either very impressive or creepy that she would remember my first and last name, face, and exact room number. I went to my room and key didnt work. Went back down and she asked if i was X room and i had to once again correct her. When i stated how she just gave me access to someone elses room with no identification etc she claimed it an accident. That is not an accident. It is negligence. If she had checked an identification against the room number she wouldve seen it did not match but instead she used remembering just my face as a guest to grant me access to whatever room i said was mine. When youre traveling alone as a woman this is incredibly unnerving. Comparing to other Holiday Inn Expresses the breakfast was not good. Bathroom had literally pee spots on floor from previous guest. Housekeeping remade bed but did not change sheets. Needle in carpet from previous guest. Food in fridge from previous guest. Seriously considered leaving as the noise was also beyond extreme. Thankfully it was just that first night.
