  Depending on what room you get, it can be noisy due to traffic. Front staff was very accommodating and professional under the circumstances. At check-in there's only 1 person behind the desk, leading to a line for check-in. We reported the jacuzzi was not working, and it was not fixed during the time we were there. Looks newly remodeled, but not a lot of bathroom counter space, not a big deal, as everything was clean. Beds are very comfortable, and it was nice having a balcony. If you have any physical issues, the hotel is a lot of steps, and quite an uphill or downhill grade from parking lot to the buildings. Again Michele at the front desk was awesome as well as the other lady (didn't get her name), and they treated everyone so kind.

  Manager is a stand up guy towels were needed in the pool area he had towels brought out so quick no one even noticed him flinch. Great place great atmosphere excellent staff and rig parking is in a reasonable distance. So transporters and hotshoters I gotta say its a must visit hot tub was great. After being in the rig for weeks on end. Thank you to all the holiday inn staff for maintaining a great environment to spend time with the whole family. Thanks Derrick Carter Manager you rock sir

  This place does not clean or maintained their properties very well. There have been found multiple hairs in the bathroom urine dried up in the back of the toilets on the floor with small hairs around them their hairs in the sheets the lights over the balcony lake water the bathroom fixture in the bathroom fixtures are spotted in nothing cleaned the shower head and the bathtub are not clean there is urine dried up on the back of toilets and on the floor found before we even stayed in the room. This building is not handicapped accessible it has multiple levels of buildings that you have to drive to get to and then the breakfast is in the main lobby and you have to drive and take long walks to go get your food and bring it back to your room and not eat it in the lobby. We have not found in ice machine and there is only one vending machine in our building that's on the second floor. It is 3 mi from the pismo pier. It is not considered close at all. It is very disappointing and after a 9-hour drive to get here expecting everything ready for us to stay the night clean and good it was not. A long drive for disappointment.

  We stayed at Holiday Inn Express Grover Beach–Pismo Beach for 3 nights over Martin Luther King weekend and had a great experience. We arrived late, but check-in was super easy since I was able to use the mobile app. Derrick helped us when we arrived, and the whole process was smooth. We’re IHG Platinum members, and everything went well. The front desk staff was amazing—very friendly and helpful. Shoutout to Derrick, Joseph, Sam, Michelle, and Savannah for making us feel welcome. The room was much larger than expected, which was perfect for our family (2 adults + 2 kids). We really liked that the room had a microwave, two sinks (one inside the bathroom and one outside), and a bathtub (not just a shower). The room was clean, quiet, and spacious—definitely bigger than the average hotel room. The location is great, and we also enjoyed the complimentary breakfast. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would happily stay here again!
