Unfortunately, I had trouble sleeping in the bed which I found uncomfortable (too hard) and there's not much in the way of noise cancellation. I heard a lot of my neighbors and outside noises. Besides that, this hotel offers a LOT for your dollar: a pool, hot tub, laundry, gym, free breakfast, wifi. There's a lot to love here. Thank you BWH!

The breakfast says it closes at 9 am , but we went at 8.30 to realize the food was empty and there weren’t ready to refill Everyone at the kitchen was so frustrated and they choose to do nothing The rooms are so bad and are going through renovation and you will be woken up by construction costs at 5 am , so please make an informed decision, The rooms were so smelly and old There are other bottles which can give you much better experience even though if it’s slightly expensive

I booked the day before with confirmation that I can check in early and to give a heads up about an hour or two away from the hotel to confirm the early check in. I proceeded to contact the front office at 3am when I was met with the most rudest front office person. I was told best western does not do early check ins and she has no power to check for availability. Also, we would have to wait until 7am for a supervisor to be able to check in. My family and I waited in the parking lot for 2 hours, mind you we had a 8 hour drive, to be told by the front office that supervisors only work weekdays!!!! We also said if we can check in early and they said no problem but not until after 1pm. I was fed lies upon lies. The staff do not communicate with each other. They need to clean house with the front office employees.
- LHLori HaggartyDec 4, 20255.0We just enjoyed a 10 day stay and it was fantastic. The rooms are roomy and modern with housekeeping available on request which was perfect. The breakfast bar had lots of options to choose from, just what we needed to get the day started. We had a massive king bed that was super comfy so we had a great sleep after busy days. The grounds are SO well maintained, it felt like we were in a private oasis. The pool was refreshing and the bubbly hot tub offered daily relaxation and the perfect escape from the Vancouver rain. The friendly staff were super helpful and very responsive to our requests. It’s in the heart of old town Goleta so just steps to shops and restaurants and less than a 15 minute drive to downtown Santa Barbara and Stern's Wharf. It was a great value and wonderful stay and we will definitely book in again. Bring your own robe though, that’s the only thing that was missing for me. 😉😊
