My husband and I were visiting family last month and were really happy to have chosen this location of the Hilton. The staff were so nice and welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. The room was very comfortable and we sure enjoyed the view. The management went the extra mile for us, clearing up a problem with a mix up I made when I originally booked the room. We look forward to staying here again on our next visit!

My wife and I, along with a few other family members stayed here for the night to attend my cousin's funeral 12/12 - 12/13. The rooms were nice, service was good as they made some accomodations for us with late check out and extending our parking because the reception was being held in their conference room. The location was awesome because it was center of Glendale and night life was just a couple blocks away. The cons that I had with this place was, the key fob reader on the door kept clicking really loud and sounded like someone was trying to break into the room. This continued all throughout the night. I called front desk, and they said engineering wasn't on site, but they can send security or we can switch rooms. It was 1:30am and I had to be up in 5 hours, so I wasn't going to do all that. The second con that I had was eating breakfast at amuse. Totally overpriced, and I ended up tipping more than I should have, because I wasn't aware they automatically add gratuity. The service was just okay, nothing to deserve any additional tip. Maybe I wasn't aware enough to know considering I kept waking up because of the damn clicking from the door. I also found out later that my other cousin that was staying a couple floors above me had the same issue. We were both in the executive king rooms. I stayed in room 1610 to be specific.

It's a good hotel. They do a great job maintaining it, but it is showing its age. I do think that parking should be included with the reservation (or at least the option when you book) so it's not a surprise daily fee when you get there. Also, while their restaurant is excellent, and staffed by fantastic waitstaff, it is a little pricey with 20% gratuity mandatory for all purchases. Not that I mind tipping, but be aware that it's already included.

Pretty nice hotel: good location near the heart of Glendale and ~20 or so mins to universal studios. The foyer and entrance to the hotel is inviting and pleasant. They have a nice restaurant with a great breakfast buffet. The breakfast was had a nice range of options including eggs, bacon, hash browns, omelets to order as well as some cold meats, eggs and a range of milks. They also had some bread choices as well as 4 different juice options and coffee. The room was well appointed all though the beds were a little on the small side. The view was pretty good and the bathroom was very nice also.
The pool is clean and nice. Went for a swam and the kids played with the supplied range of balls for hours. There are some nice lounges and also some umbrellas. I didn't use the on site gym but it seems pretty well stocked with all you need to workout
Overall we had a nice stay. We were here for a wedding so we didn't spend a lot of time on site.

Staff was very helpful and accommodating when we had to move the check in date a week into the future due to unforseen weather conditions. Unfortunately, this hotel falls short in every other aspect. Entering our room, we were greeted with a single rose wrapped in a purple bow, which we thought was a nice touch until we got a call front the from desk at around midnight, explaining that the rose needed to go to a different room and that they wanted it back. The "window" in our room was an unnerving sliding glass door with a broken lock. Thank god we didn't bring children on this trip. The room came with a refrigerator that smelled stale, but no microwave to reheat our leftovers with. To top it all off, our thermostat did not work the entire trip, and our room stayed at around 67 degrees despite having the heat set to 80. We even double checked on youtube, watching multiple videos to make sure we were using the thermostat correctly. A 3 night stay for $760 left us completely dissatisfied with our hotel expierience, and I doubt we are going to come back here again.
