Room was not ready and my family and I had to wait an extra 45 minutes making it very difficult to make our appointment on time in the city. Staff member was extremely rude and unhelpful, offering no concessions and showing complete apathy for their lack of service and preparedness. Room was awful due to the highway noise and couch pullout bed was extremely uncomfortable and outdated. Would not recommend to anyone to stay at this hotel, go a few miles away and stay at a much better establishment. This experience has completely destroyed my impression of Holiday Inn Express hotels and I cannot recommend them as of this review. DO NOT pay extra for this hotel based on some reputation you see on tv ads. Spend less and get a better experience elsewhere.

- JJjo_zeldaSep 9, 20251.0I stayed at this hotel over the long weekend with my family. Everything was fine until we went for breakfast. The lady that attends the area of the breakfast was rude. I’m gonna say too rude to be honest she was yelling at my husband when he only asked her a question. He was basically treating him like a kid like can’t you see the signs? can’t you do this? it seemed like she didn’t wanna be bothered. My husband asked do the omelettes have cheese. She was like yes everything has cheese yelling at him then he asked where can he get the milk and then she was like can’t you see everything’s over there in the refrigerator with an attitude? at the end of the whole situation, we were just like annoyed, not enjoying our breakfast. We just wanted to get out of there. Obviously we had my daughter with us and she only had a cinnamon roll and she was scared of grabbing it because she was like the lady’s gonna yell at me, mom it was just so uncomfortable. It was embarrassing. It was just a bad customer service from that lady and it was only that situation that ruined the whole weekend. We let the front desk know at check out what had happened. They told us that they were gonna let the manager know and that they were gonna call us or even send us an email as of today. There has been no call. no email no follow up.
