Terrible hotel, i stayed years ago for my proposal and still can't get over how bad of an experience it was. Terrible service, overpriced, plastic in the food, just nothing went right meanwhile we were paying for the most expensive room in the hotel. Half the time nobody was at the front desk or available to help.

I was so excited to say here for 3 nights. We usually stay at the Kenwood Inn but wanted to try something a little different. The rooms are small but it was still nice. The front desk staff was very friendly. I was very disappointed that I asked to schedule a massage over a day in advance but they couldn’t find a massage therapist. The night before I stopped into the spa to see if they were able to schedule and she said “yeah no do you want me to give up?” I mean I didn’t, but obviously she wanted to so I just dropped it. Not what I would expect from a 5 star hotel. I’m glad I got to stay here, but not sure I will be back sadly. For the price I think there are better hotels.

Avoid this hotel (especially their restaurant) until they fix the details of what the new owner wants and hopefully find a new chef. Their own policies (no children in the restaurant, free snacks in the room, etc) provided were no longer accurate. The chef had left shortly before we checked in and the service/menu was not accurate. Despite their own emails the week before we arrived stating their relationship with local fishermen, not one, of only 3, entree choices were fish. The dessert we wanted (on their updated menu from that afternoon) was not actually offered and they were 'out' of another choice. None of this was properly communicated. They had no problem adding a set 22% gratuity for a dinner for 2 with one bottle of wine that came to nearly $500. We will never return. The room and property itself are lovely, but go somewhere where the service details match the price point.
