Much like a cheap PSU in a gaming rig, this hotel’s service crashed the moment I walked in. I ran into Mayor at the front desk, and he is definitely the 'bottleneck' of this establishment.
Extremely rude, zero customer service skills, and—get this—he didn't think my ID was real because I’m Mexican. I guess his 'drivers' are out of date and he hasn't received the 2026 update on how human beings work.
I’d recommend Best Western 'troubleshoot' their hiring process, because this Mayor is a total system failure.

Breakfast is absolutely horrible here... do not count on breakfast here. They say elevate yourself with a continental breakfast breakfast but only put out stale expired muffins, hard boiled eggs like they too lazy to cook them ... I guess a continental breakfast is just making waffles and a coffee. Rooms were really nice tho but breakfast was a 1 out of 10 for me. So basically just don't depend on the food and youll be good lol

How can you be so unprofessional to take my money give me my keys, I go to dinner come back and someone else has left there luggage in my room. This could have been a deadly situation. And then you have no other rooms avaliable , after being on the road for 18 hrs.

We were in the area for a weekend event and needed convenient, affordable accommodations. Best Western Diamond Bar served our needs. The rooms were clean and spacious. The TV was a good size with a great picture. The renovated rooms provided quality finishes with multiple USB and plugs for charging devices. The included breakfast provided many options to start your day right. The pool and surrounding courtyard area was lovey and included an Adorable kumquat tree! Due to highway construction across from the backside of the property, the road traffic was a bit distracting during evening bedtime...not BW property's fault. The pool and breakfast area were clean and quiet! We would stay here again. Attention to detail and cleanliness are the best referrals for customer satisfaction!

This hotel is more like a motel and far from what I expect from Best Western franchises. The traffic noise was unbearable, the HVAC noise was awful, the broken bathroom fan/light was extremely loud, there were tiny drain 🪰 all over the room, there was a crappy mini fridge, but no microwave in the room, the beds were on sheet metal bases that made lots of noise when you moved on the bed, the pool and hot tub hours were extremely short, there was only one ice machine in the whole hotel, and to to it all off, the staff was very rude! Also, I was a woman checking in late at night, alone, and there was a line of unsavory looking characters in the lobby. As I finally got to check in, the gentleman at the desk said my first and last name and my room number out loud for all to hear! Have they not trained their staff to never say people's room numbers out loud? The Ayers Suites Diamond Bar just down the street is SO much better and is similarly priced. I will never stay at this BW hotel again and actually feel that Best Western owes me some money back. If I were you, I'd think twice before reserving a room here.
UPDATE: In response to the seemingly canned response I got below.....I did reach out to hotel management while I was at the property and was told I was a liar, I was then harassed in my room by the manager Muir, the housekeeping staff, and the front desk staff, though I had the DO NOT DISTURB sign on my door, and then later in the day when I asked to speak to him at the front desk, the front desk clerk lied to me and told me he wasn't on property, though I saw him with my own eyes. He just refused to talk to me.
I do not think this hotel should be a Best Western franchise.
