We stayed for 7 days and every single morning we had a lovely breakfast and personalized service from Tee! She was fantastic, knew our order every morning and was so friendly and had such an awesome vibe!!!!! Loved her! Will miss the beautiful sunsets at this amazing hotel!!!

Cons: harsh, fluorescent lighting in the bedroom but soft lighting in the bathroom that was too low for applying makeup. Seemed like a weird decision. People walking right outside my bedroom windows meant I could not open the blinds (which is why the fluorescent lighting was so annoying). Cheap hairdryer that burned more than dried.
- MLM LApr 13, 20265.0I continue to enjoy this hotel because the rooms are comfortable and clean. And always somehow they retain the freshness of the nearby ocean, even in the absence of a balcony. I will continue to use this hotel, but not because IHG rewards have ever made it anything but difficult to stay here. It has been possible to use IHG rewards only once to book my preferred room. So forgo the gimmick and book however you can for a very pleasant stay/ location.

The lobby, restaurant and bar are very nice, staffed with friendly and helpful people. The hotel has a beautiful terrace that looks out at the ocean. We spent a lot of time there, relaxing, reading, and enjoying happy hour and the sunset champagne toast. The food in the restaurant was good, good be slightly improved. The room was small but comfortable and nicely decorated. The hotel is very walkable to the beach, and nearby Del Mar restaurants and shopping. A 15 minute walk north or south will get you to both. We didn't bring a dog on this trip, but look forward to our next stay and having our dog with us. The hotel is very dog friendly.

The beachfront location is unbeatable—beautiful views and a peaceful, quiet atmosphere that made it easy to relax. I was pleasantly surprised with an upgrade when my room wasn’t ready at check-in, which was a nice touch. Johnny and Mia were especially helpful and made the check-in process smooth and welcoming. Also appreciated that the property is dog-friendly. Would definitely stay here again!
