The rooms were not cleaned well and the sink was broken. The pool and hot tub were in serious need of attention

Stayed at the Best Western in Crescent City during a road trip. The hotel itself was fine — clean, decent, nothing spectacular, but acceptable for a short stay. Before booking, I specifically called the hotel to ask if they had Tesla Superchargers on the property. I was told yes. When I arrived, I found out they actually have ChargePoint chargers, not Tesla Superchargers. I went back to the front desk to confirm, and they again told me they had Tesla chargers. It seemed like the staff may not understand the difference, which made planning difficult since charging was one of the main reasons I chose this hotel. The chargers also show that after 5 hours there is a $2 per hour fee, so I decided not to leave my car plugged in overnight and instead planned to charge in the morning before leaving. When I went out to charge, another Tesla was parked in the charging space but wasn’t plugged in, so I wasn’t able to use it at all. Breakfast was also disappointing. Breakfast is advertised as included, but when we went down in the morning there were several food trays that were completely empty and not being refilled. It gave the impression that breakfast was technically offered, but not really maintained. Overall, the hotel itself was okay, but if you’re traveling with an EV, I would not rely on the charging situation here. Between the incorrect information about chargers and the breakfast experience, this will probably not be a stop I choose again on future trips.

It was a nice stay in our room and we were able to hook our phone to the TV and watch our favorite show. The breakfast was alright and there were alot of options. The pool looked nice there were just alot people. Beds weren't the the best but it was sleepable.

Probably the worst place I've stayed in cresent city stay anywhere else the bed is like sleeping on stone and the pillows are terrible. The room has a terrible odor and everything is falling apart feels like the landlord special in hotel form. The worst part its one of the most expensive hotels in town we expected more from best western will not stay again and wouldn't recommend it. To anyone else

The last 2 BW stays have been Horrible. ( Coos Bay and Clearlake) we decided to give it one more try. We are a laid back family tgat doesnt expact much. Just a safe comfortable room. The room was ok, bed was not too bad, location was good, but we lost power at 2am and there was no backup generator. If there was, it was not working. My wife, who uses a medical device to breath, woke up in a full panic which resulted in an anxiety attack. The rooms had no emergency lights which is required by state law. We called the office who did not answer, so we called the corporate number and a snarky lady said to us "why dont you just walk over there". We were in the middle of a huge storm and had to leave the room to the outside to get to the office. The Office would not let us in. So we used our cell phone lights to pack up and we left. We were unable to shower since there was no hot water or light, and we missed out on breakfast. When we got home, we called to speak to the manager. We were told they were busy and would call us back. We wanted to give them a chance to explain and make it right. We received no call back in 2 days. We have basically made up our minds that the 3rd time is a charm. We will not be staying at Best Westerns again.
