The mattresses are in need of replacing. Glasses and room service trays stay in the hallways for lengthy time. I didn't receive housekeeping for two days, when I called the service I was told I must take the privacy sign off my door before 8am or they won't come that day. I was always out of my room by 10am and housekeeping would be in the hall at the room next to mine. I guess I should have asked her to replace my towels. One other thing was when housekeeping came they would replace the bar of soap everytime but wouldn't replace low toilet paper, they just folded the "v" shape. That would indicate they knew it was low. I needed to call the front desk to get a roll. Lastly the parking garage floods when it rains making the floor slippery.

It seems that people who work for the Hilton are leaving these reviews because this Hilton Costa Mesa shouldn’t even be called Hilton. Management is terrible. I was there for Christmas last year and it was so depressing. For the money I spent I could have stayed at a better hotel

Automatic 2-star review for blatant money grab of $45/night for parking. Essentially a 25% increase over the room rate. An average review of 4.0 Stars for a "4-star hotel" is incredibly low. That should have been a clue for me to stay away. I suggest you do the same. Room is dated. I am staring at a popcorn covered ceiling. Carpets are stained and appear to be over 20 years old. Furniture is old. Staining is coming off the closet doors. Bed and pillows are comfortable as are most Hiltons. They stuck me in a crappy room with a view of the lobby and the hotel is fairly empty. I travel to Costa Mesa often for business and those trips are becoming more frequent, I'll stay elsewhere next time.
