I’ve stayed at this hotel several times because the location is very convenient (even though the property is overdue for major renovations and the parking is overpriced). However, during my most recent stay, I was unexpectedly charged a $300 smoking fee. This is extremely frustrating because I do not smoke, and at no point did the room smell like cigarettes. I have no idea how this charge is being justified. What made the situation worse was trying to reach the front desk. I called multiple times with very long wiat times until someone finally answered. This level of service is unacceptable. I will now wait for the director to return my call and hopefully remove this charge.

Stayed here for 6 days, 5 nights and we had a great experience. The staff were very friendly and explained all information after our booking very well. Housekeeping does such an amazing job every day when we returned to our room. The hotel also has a great view of the city. If you are planning to stay for business or personal time, choose this place!

Hilton Liars! They charge me $300 for smoking in the room which is a lie. I didn’t SMOKE in the room! I don’t even smoke cigarettes! Maybe because the room is old and dated they think it smells. I don’t recommend driving a vehicle there they charge $45 pr night for parking, which makes the hotel 22.5% mor expensive. That’s a great way to trick your customers. They also double charged me for parking which is $45 a night and I prepaid it for $40.10, than also there charging for 3 nights of taxes when I only stayed 2 nights. I tried calling over 6 times and I was on hold for 20 minutes and no help. Had to call Hilton directly and they’ll look into it, they also couldn’t get a hold of anyone at the hotel in Costa Mesa. The mattress needs to be replaced, sinks in to much our backs hurt in the morning. Clean Hotel and food was good except for the banana split it had practically No ice cream, it was all banana. They asked me to call them back in 3 days if I don’t hear back, but I’ll just be calling my credit card for a charge back, my time is to valuable to waste it on hold! They obviously don’t respect my time! I Will update what happens!

Extremely Disappointing Stay After driving 8 hours to reach the hotel, we were exhausted and just wanted to rest. We were given a room, but as soon as we tried to sleep, there was an incredibly loud noise and strong vibration coming from the roof. It was unbearable, it caused us headaches and we couldn’t fall asleep until around midnight. When we called the front desk, they sent an engineer he came to check but never come back. The solution? We had to pack up all of our belongings late at night and move to another room. After such a long drive, this was the last thing we wanted to deal with. The next morning, we went to breakfast assuming it was included in our reservation, only to be charged $90. Given the terrible night we had, we spoke with the front desk and politely asked if they could at least offer breakfast as a gesture of goodwill. Their response was simply “No,” stating that the room issue had already been resolved. While the room change may have technically “resolved” the noise problem, the inconvenience, lack of sleep, and overall poor customer service were not resolved. There was no apology beyond the bare minimum and no effort to make things right. This experience was extremely disappointing, especially after such a long journey. I would not recommend staying here.

The rooms were loud. Every time the a/c shut off it would make a “crying” sound. Almost sounded like if we had a ghost in our room! A crusty old wash cloth was left on the shower curtain bar! Nasty! There was also a loud rumbling noise coming from the roof top (which was our lovely view out of the slider window). At check out, the clerk wanted to charge me parking, again, in which I stated that parking was already taken care of the prior evening when I checked in. She then seemed puzzled when I told her for the third time, “I am checking out… I’m going home”. -At parking, ($45.00 a night) there was no attendant to raise the crossing bar, so you have to go out the “one way”. As we were leaving we did see a parking attendant, but he was too busy on his phone. -For $230.00 a night, I think I’d try somewhere else. Pricey room. Pricey parking. Pricey breakfast.
