  I drove by last week to visit their golf driving range as usual, but it was closed temporarily until further notice. I’ve been going here for decades, couple of times for trade shows, few times for company events, and handful of times for Christmas parties. Love the location and the atmosphere, especially their bars and restaurants. Parking is plentiful and that’s what I love about it the most!

  One star for stranding me and my children. I booked a stay the same day I was traveling. After I booked I was sent a link that read "for a late check in call the front desk" except there was no way to contact the front desk. I called and messaged every option they gave me to reach out. I got to an automated line that told me my reservation was cancelled by them. I was told by the automated line that I was being transferred to a live agent. I waited on hold at midnight for 26 minutes when the automated line hung up on me. I was in the middle of the night with my kids with no where to stay. I had to call several other places to find fully booked hotels. I finally got a hold of Marriot who had a live person to talk to at 1am and who did not stop until they found me a place to stay. I am forever grateful to Marriot for ensuing we were safe and had a place to stay. 1 star customer service. And the cherry on top. I never got a call back ( 2 days later) from pacific palms resort AND they charged me for the reservation they cancelled. My family has used this resort frequently in the past ( my family and extended family members). I know my family will not be back.

  I've stayed at the hotel previously and had a wonderful experience. Today we returned to play golf on the Ike course. The whole experience was class A. From checking to the beverage cart person, everyone was friendly. The course is in excellent condition and the greens rolled quick. My driver didn't cooperate with me, and my score reflected as much. The carts have GPS/Yardage and two ice chests on board which is an added benefit. Looking forward to our next round of golf here.

  Definitely not a 4 star hotel. Clean rooms, a little old but service needs a lot of improvement to be a 4 star hotel, although the bellman was very helpful and attentive! I appreciate the complimentary self parking. I will contact the FOM to discuss the service I received, just meh…

  A hidden treasure! I had NEVER even known this hotel existed! I will be coming here hopefully monthly just to recharge. Close to everything (shopping mall, restaurants, banks, etc.), but yet secluded enough to make you feel like you are on vacation...without the plane ride. I had maybe the best massage I have ever had at Sally Spa. I highly recommend you also book the spa experience for under $40 for 2 hours of jacuzzi and sauna time. I didn't do that this time. Beautiful city lights views even from the 3rd floor. No valet would be my only negative, but plenty of parking just a short walk away. It's open parking. No parking structure to deal with. I don't golf, but the driving range is right there, so even me hitting a few balls is a possibility. :) I will be having dinner here at their hotel Sunday evening. I'm looking forward to my full experience here. It's so beautiful and plenty of areas for selfie posts (for those who are into that). Overall a 9.5 out of 10. No microwave available to rent. For some reason we thought we could get a microwave. I will be exploring more of the hotel today and I can't wait!
