  Our tour just used the services of Discovery Charters based out of Castroville, CA for 6 days Sept 2025. I can't say enough good things about this company, Richard C. Dorr, President, and his two drivers, Edward Washington and Raul Navarro. Richard was so helpful with setting up our tour, so attentive to details, explaining how the pricing worked, adjusting when necessary, and being patient with me. Edward drove for us 5 of the 6 days and was amazing. So nice, personable, professional, and attentive to all of us. He knew the area, knew traffic patterns for different times of day, he was so friendly and thoughtful. We had asked for him specifically because we used the company 3 years ago for a very similar tour and loved him then. Raul drove for us one day, driving up to Fremont Peak, which is pretty difficult in a 25 person bus. But he did a great job and we knew he was very capable and cared greatly for our safety and comfort. So just want to recommend this company if you are thinking in need of their services.   Discovery Charters did a great job with transportation for our wedding! We were moving guests from downtown Carmel to our venue and back, and they were very responsive and easy to work with. The buses were on time, comfortable, and clean! One of the drivers was even nice enough at the end of the night to take some of our oldest and youngest guests up the hill!

  ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We recently used Discovery Charters for my child’s field trip from Salinas to Great America, and the experience was excellent. Our driver, Oscar Guillen, went above and beyond, he was professional, courteous, and very informative throughout the trip. He made the ride smooth, safe, and enjoyable for everyone on board. It’s clear that Discovery Charters takes pride in providing reliable and safe transportation, and drivers like Oscar truly make a difference. He is a tremendous asset to the company and one of the key reasons I would choose Discovery Charters again for future trips. Highly recommend both the company and Oscar!

  Discovery is a wonderful company to work with. We have partnered with them for many years and continue to go back to them. They are friendly, timing, well organized, communicate great and willing to adapt to changes. Rich is amazing and does right by the client. In my industry, I work with many charter bus companies throughout the United States and Canada and Discovery is top of the game! You will be in good hands from beginning to end.

  Discovery Charters carried nearly a packed bus of family members from the Asilomar Conference Grounds in Pacific Grove to the Carmel Valley Village in mid June 2025. We booked the trip nearly six months ago, and they were quick to communicate, provide documentation, and work with me to organize the trip. Pat Dorr was our main point of contact, and she offered top notch customer service for us. The contract was easy to read as the total cost was incredibly fair to safely transport 45 family members safely to and from the wine region. Miguel was our driver. Miguel was on time for departure and arrival times. He was kind and quick to respond. When we needed the charger to charge items, he immediately heard the request, and it was turned on. We always felt safe under his care.
