  Little black girl with that temu wig very rude. Charged my card twice 35$ each they say for parking that they never even mentioned to me. NEVER AGAIN

  We visited Carlsbad to see our daughter and new granddaughter. This hotel was a short drive from their apartment. There was a free breakfast every morning that had something for everyone, and the menu options changed each day. The clerks at the front desk were amazing- I've never met nicer people. The room was perfect, beds and pillows were so comfortable. We were able to get a complimentary late check out when we left. When we visit again, this is hands down the only place we'll stay. Thank you Homewood Suites for a wonderful stay in Carlsbad, CA!

  Location, staff and breakfast were great. Unfortunately checked out a day earlier which should have been a 4 day stay. This is a pet friendly location, dogs in rooms bark continuous throughtout the day & night and are placed in various rooms throughout the location (there should be designed areas of the hotel that are pet friendly only) walls are thin, so you hear people on each side of the walls (screaming, crying kids and loud TV's were untolerable) couldn't hear our own TV in front of us, people above us on 2nd floor could also can be heard. Disappointing.

  It was a great stay. I have stayed here a few times. My last visit my ac wasnt working. The staff quickly took care of the issue. Everyone here is pleasant and always willing to help.

  The suites are spacious and the location is convenient for families and longer stays in the Carlsbad area. The room layout and kitchen setup are practical and comfortable. However, the service and overall guest experience were disappointing. Housekeeping was very poor. I requested cleaning several times, but there was no response or follow-up. Basic amenities were also missing — no toothbrush or toothpaste available, and no complimentary water bottles at check-in, which is below the standard expected from a Hilton property. Parking is another issue. The lot is almost always full, and the spaces are extremely tight, making it stressful to park. Additionally, some front desk staff were not attentive and seemed to need better training in guest service. Even simple requests were not handled properly — Cold coffee in the lobby, also there was no hot water available. With better housekeeping management, improved staff training, and attention to basic guest amenities, this hotel could provide a much better experience. Unfortunately, my stay did not meet Hilton standards.
