First time at this property. At check in, requested a quiet room and specifically without street noise, as we are going to be here for 2 weeks while having a medical procedure. Was told that would not be a problem, but ended up in a room facing Aviara Parkway which is very loud. All parts of the unit, including the bedrooms faces this main road.
Beware that almost all the buildings in the Summit Village face Aviara Parkway and all units in Buildings 17-24 would have to deal with the sound of cars whizzing by loudly during your stay. Summit Village seems to be where the majority of the units are located as the other two villages which seem like they would be much quieter have very few buildings.
I even had earplugs in last night (which of course they did not offer) and I could still hear the street noise. It's too bad because it's a nice property. But it's just not relaxing at all with the constant street noise. Nothing about the service jumps out as being extraordinary

We stayed here for an anniversary trip with young kiddos and LOVED IT. Fran and her team were so communicative before our stay, and everyone on staff there was lovely. They left lots of goodies in our room for our anniversary (and came back again to give our kids even more macarons to eat). They had goodie bags for the kids that literally entertained them for hours. We loved eating breakfast in their restaurant every morning. The rooms were spectacular and they also gave us a free upgrade per our Fine Hotels and Resorts stay through our credit card. Top notch in all the ways!

Food was just ok but the service was slow, slow, slow. 90 minutes before our main courses arrived. First round of drinks were slow. We ordered our second round of drinks, which got made and forgotten about at the bar and our waiter didn't check. Had to ask what the delay was and they found them and brought them to the table. Pretty dismal service which is a shame as it's a nice looking dining room. We won't be returning based on this evening's experience.
