Ayalnesh, You would have my details and can contact me.I have been trying to reach out to guys through multiple ways. Our flights were repeatedly changed due to the government shutdown, causing us to lose a full day of travel. We called the hotel right away, but the staff was unhelpful and refused to assist in any way. We ended up losing our money for the night we couldn’t stay. The situation was beyond our control, and despite giving the hotel all the flight details, they were unwilling to accommodate us.I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone.

Don’t look at the overall score. It can be misleading. I went through all low scores and their comments reflect more of my personal experience. You may see replies from the hotel here in comments but it’s just too deceiving. As a late comer, I can assure you that all promises claimed are never put into action. The facility and service is compromising. Room and bed are too small for 2 people or anyone taller than 5’8. Sofa and chair are dirty. Pool water is thick and dirty. Front desk can’t help with any change regarding your order. Manager will rip you off if you wan to schedule your travel plan. No stores in walkable distance. The listing price can be low but parking is 24 bucks per day. If you count it into the total, the price is no longer competitive anymore. If you drive, go choose somewhere else. There are quite a few hotels offer free or much lower fee parking nearby.

Please know I have experience from going hotel-to-hotel most of my younger life - experiencing many different major brands. And I have been in several countries and hotels, including Mexico, Greece, and India. That being said, here is my review of the Crowne Plaza located in San Francisco near the airport. The rooms and hallways look beat up and a little below average. The room itself looked fairly clean but then when I went to inspect things - there were still "things" in the toilet, broken crumbs on the carpet near the bed, no zip-liner for the bed (only a sheet covering it), the sheet for the bed had a lot of wrinkles (it looked like someone laid in it and it was not switched out), and the furniture was scratched up a bit. The hotel looks very worn. And considering the room was not clean, I'd say the Service was not very good. No water bottles in the room either (if not a custom to do this yet then they should change). Location seems average since it is close to the airport. Although, I was told the guy doing the shuttle from the airport to the hotel was on lunch and was not going to around until an hour later. ADDITIONAL POINTS: 1. The internet was NOT good! During the day you get 1Mb/sec download and about the same for upload. So do not expect to do business from here that requires streaming or uploading. I get a faster connection hot-spotting to my throttled cell phone's data. 2. This was a business trip and they could not find the credit card on file; although one was required to set up the booking. I had to use my own card and get reimbursed because the credit card was "nowhere to be found". Summary: If you're looking for a quick night - fine. If you're looking for a great stay or orderly rooms - stay away.

UPDATE: I returned back in the evening the next day. I was told because I accepted the downgrade, no new room would be given and my room wasn’t even serviced by housekeeping while I was out for the day. The response from management feels cold. I’ll take it up with IHG directly. The I stay here quite a bit during the year for work but lately, I’ve just been flabbergasted by how little management cares about the overall functionality of the hotel. Over the last couple of months, one of the elevators in the hotels has been inoperative. It’s never been a problem because there’s two other elevators that can be used. Today, I came in around 4:30pm and was told all 3 elevators were inoperative and that I would need to drag my bags up what I assumed would be a flight of stairs (spoiler: it was several) to the second floor and that I would be given a new room tomorrow after they fixed the elevators (I’m not holding my breath but if it happens, I’ll be shocked—my reservation was for a premium high floor room and I was greatly downgraded). I was also given the option to cancel but given the excessive cost of the hotels in the area, I decided to stay. I was then directed outside to the side of the hotel to a sketchy staircase that led to the guest rooms. The hallway doors on either end of the corridor were continuously left open so guests could access their rooms and two workers assisted me with my bags up the staircase. I can’t help but wonder how all 3 elevators just stopped working but I’m sure they just fixed them the cheapest way they know how; Even one functional elevator would have been helpful. But dear reader, this isn’t the only issue I’ve had as of late with this property. I’ve stayed in a “premium room” which has no hot water. I didn’t know this until 3:30 in the morning when I was getting ready for work and I was told I could swap to another room as I was about to leave. I’ve had electrical sockets what won’t even hold a wall plug and it just drops to the ground or even better, won’t power or charge my devices. Or even more horrifyingly, watching $50 worth of food rot away in a refrigerator that won’t stay cold. The one combo that does help is the fact that the rooms are relatively cheap and clean, and the airport shuttle has mostly dependable transportation (depends on the driver but I’ve only ever had an issue once). Management really needs to step up their game. I shouldn’t be put in a difficult situation trying to decide if I should book a new hotel or stay at an obviously overused and poorly maintained property. And there is absolutely ZERO reason why there can’t be one functional elevator on property. They haven’t even offered any compensation for the inconveniences they caused and I’ll be more than happy to reach out to IHG myself, letting them know how enraged I am.
